I'd like to invite everyone to our last Official Club Outing of the 2013 season October 18th - 20th in Greensburg at Cottonwood Trails Gold Camp. We have 13 Chapters from 8 States joining this outing with a common dig on Saturday along with a pitch in dinner at 5p meeting at 6p Campsite trick or treating for the kids 7p - 8p and a Hawk & Knife throw for the adults. This would be a good time to see what Gold Prospecting in Indiana is all about with lots of different equipment and people doing what they do. This is a pay to dig site so cost is $10 a day for GPAA Members and $15 a day Non Members you keep the gold you find . We will also have several raffles and FREE GIVEAWAYS all weekend, hope to see you there.
If you plan on coming and bringing a camper unit I'll need to know in advance so I can save a spot for you ... camper spots are limited, also Baymont Inn & Suites in Greensburg is giving a discounted rate for those attending the event if you choose to Hotel it .

These beauties were recovered while running two separate Gold operations just 10 yards apart, the grey one has found a new home in Missouri along with 1200 other recoveries, this is his first Indiana point , not a bad one for your first from the State . The tan will find it's new home in a collection in Northern Indiana .

Just received this photo of another recovery from the weekend. This is Dave's first recovered point, found a half mile from the other 2. All recoveries were made in South Eastern Indiana, Decatur County and all were made by legal means. This now has a new home and should be a start to a nice collection in Portland Indiana.
