Let me add to the "hunting nuisance geese / urban geese" delema. We must be careful when hunting urban areas. For those who have taken hunter education classes, you may remember that 5% of the general public is pro-hunting. 5% of the general public is anti-hunting. The other 90% is on the fence. If you decide to go waterfowl hunting in an area that consists of several people on the fence, your actions could sway them one way or another. Setting up a spread near a housing addition is only asking for trouble. Are you within the law? Probably. But is the image that you leave behind worth the possibility that you will turn even more folks in to the anti-hunting camp? Be careful where you hunt out there.......everyone will be watching from their second story window, and your actions will represent their feelings toward all hunters, not just you. SOME of you know exactly what I'm talking about! Just some food for thought......... But its easy pickings! ;D

If you can't aim...shoot....and hit the goose that will gladly land next to you and eat popcorn out of your hand, then you should spend more time at the range. lol. Never said shakin' eggs was hunting.......(unless its Easter!) It is simply stopping a problem. Hope everyone learned a lot from the goose seminar post.......some good info there.

They don't like popcorn, they like bread. We have to use fake bread or else that would be baiting ;D

Does that mean if I get caught with a PB&J sandwich in my goose blind I can be cited for baiting? ?? I mean serious, if these urban geese are as stupid as some folks claim, it seems that if you have ANY food source than you could get drilled for baiting......... INCLUDING DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure geese love jelly-filled donuts from Long's in Indy! Sorry MIG, but you'll have to pry the donut from my cold dead fingers before I give them up out on the goose field. LOL. Fellas, we give up our right to eat donuts, than we are giving up our freedom!!!!!!!

Sorry MIG, but you'll have to pry the donut from my cold dead fingers before I give them up out on the goose field. LOL. That's O.K. I have special CSI crime scene tools for that very reason! I'll just put it in an evidence bag, and cite the rest of the crew hunting with you! You won't be there to testify.....sounds like an easy WIN in court for me! lol! No more breaks for you jelly donut baitin', bread fed park geese, housing complex shootin' waterfowlers! lol! I don't like donuts, I'm more of a raisin bagel w/ lowfat creme cheese kinda guy! lol! ;D
