John......we need to go shopping together....... I'm shopping also! I'm thinking either the Benelli SBE II, or the Beretta Xtrema2 w KO. I'm sick of my gun making me miss....hehehe.

My vote, go for the SBE II. It kills 98.83%, you've seen the proof.

I vote for the extrema2. although you may consider one w/o the KO system. Its a few hundo cheaper and not much of a difference. Come shoot mine. It doesnt have the KO system. Want a brand new black 11-87?

Wooooohooooo!! This is the happiest day of your life, you just don't know it yet. (yeah, yeah, I know....yer wedding and the birth of your 12 youngin's) Congrats!
For what its worth, I love my Xtrema. I have a buddy with a SBE and he likes it. I know people that have SuperX2's that are happy with them. If you're looking to go with the pump, I'd say Nova or the ol' reliable 870. The most important step has been taken. Good-bye 835!! We can discuss over dinner.

For those on the family budget and still want a 3.5" auto look at the biakal MP153 aka Remington Spartan Gun Works 453 or something like that. Mine shoots 3.5 goose loads then put a 2.75 skeet load and it will still perform without making any adjustments. Comes with nice extended choke tubes for waterfowl and a turkey choke. I was greatly impressed. I have owned Winchester and benelli autos and shot many others. The biakal is my new favorite based on price and perfomance.
Best news is they are around the $300 mark last I checked maybe 400 now.

Buy the benelli Travis. Trust me, you will thank yourself later. You can run over those things with your truck and they'll still work. Don't get me started on SBE stories.........

go with an 870. never fails!.... Just kidding, I love my 870 and it's what I shot 99% of the time, then again I don't have any 1000+ shotguns in my safe.

I think after hearing all the group support for the Benelli last night Travis will be making the purchase one in the very near future. Well maybe right after the shed gets built.
