I shoot an older Anschutz. I replaced the adjustable peep and front circle sight with a 3x9 Simmons scope on weaver rings. The plinker shoots great groups out to 75 yrds. I have laid down 5 shot groups under a 1/2 inch at 50 yards. I catch some crap at times for bringing it in the woods, but with sub sonic ammo it is a tack driver. It has had some trigger work, but could use a little touching up. I have really neglected it over the past two years. I have only had it out a couple of times. I may go shoot some groups this weekend just to break it out and give me a reason to hit the gun club.
I did have a guy with a 10-22 last year who had never heard of Anschutz tell me I needed to buy a quality gun like his Ruger. He then went on to make a couple comments later, but after seeing his dog in action I just let his actions speak for me.

This one seems to do just fine.....2 - 10 shot groups @ 30 yds........offhand. The day this pic was taken My buddy brought his custom "annie" to shoot with me, spanked him real good too, sometimes it's not the gun ,but the shooter!...................Steve
