daworz, I have see through rings on my 452. I use the iron sights for close in shots and the scope for rats that are a little harder to see. Those fox squirrels like to hide with one eye/top of the head exposed and they are a little easier to dispatch with the scope.

I have the CZ American Classic M-452 inwhich I set off to Williams Gunsight Co. a couple of years ago and had them to install their Fire sights (Front & Rear). Noit only does it make the Rifle look better but it added to the usefulness by having the option of using a scope or opensights.

drs, its actually the beechwood stocked military trainer. The lux was a little too high tech redneck for a squirrel gun. The military trainer has adjustable rear sight that goes out to 200 meters (for target training I suppose.) I absoloutly love that little rifle. It just led to my purchase of a 527 carbine in .223.

Marlin 39A w/ 3x-9x Busnell firing CCI Mini-mags...
Good to see so many others shooting this good ol' lever gun... I'm 51 and got mine as a 12th b-day present, so that's 39 years worth of bushy tail smackin'...

Savage Mark II with bull barrel and Rem Thunderbolts for squirrel. This gun will shoot bug holes @ 50 yds with CCI mini mags. Its not picky on ammo and ive not found any ammo that it wont shoot good. h.h.

I use a Ruger 77/22 (stainless/synthetic, camo'd) with a Tasco 3x9. Mine does best with Federal Gold Medal .22 LR and that's probably all I'll ever shoot in it.

Right now all I've got is a little Marlin Papoose and using accurized 22's. I am trying different brands to find out what works best in this little gun after being run through the Paco's Acu'rzr but check out this ammo. Cant find this in your local store at any price. EDIT: I will put more info about this fine little tool in the Gear Review section of the board if interested....Steve.

Morrison Shawnee recurve, 65# @30" bear HH-9 fiberglass flu-flu's, steel blunt with a wingnut kicker, 6 squirrels w/7 shots, closest was 17 yds, farthest 37yds. I have a 59 western field 22lr but don't use it much, too much fun with the arrows.

Hi fellars, the bow is a blast but I just finished up my new squirrel, and ground grizzly rifle, it's a ruger 1022,in 22lr. custom boyds stock, bsa 3x9x50 scope, 18" whistle pig fluted aluminum barrel with compensator, radiused and polished bolt and action, and lots of work inside for that smooooth feeling, weighs a little under 5 pounds and all the work was done myself,I don't ever send anything out, do it all myself...you know.. give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a man to fish,he eats for a lifetime.... love to learn new things.........Steve
