This is danf posting on dadfsr's computer... Didn't want to log him out 'cause I'm afraid he might not remember his password!!
Anyway, I didn't get a bird this morning, but Dad did take a jake, and a good sized one at that. I'll post pics later (Dad has slooooooowwww dialup), but here's the measurements: 16 pounds 6 1/8" beard Both spurs (more like nubs) were ~7/16" NWTF score: 37
CONGRATULATIONS Dadfsr!!

Not sure when, or even if, I'll be able to post pictures of Dad's turkey... I can't find my camera now, and I'm afraid it took a ride down the road on the bumper of Dad's truck. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

I hope so too, but even though I haven't completely unloaded the truck yet, I don't have a lot of hope.
All in all, it wasn't an expensive camera to begin with. Fortunately, the only pictures I really wanted off of the card were the three of Dads turkey this morning. All the others (somewhere over 100 pics from the last several months) I'd pretty much backed up at work...

Too bad.
I'm guessing it is too late to take any more pictures of the bird?

Sorry to hear about the camera. I'm always leaving stuff there. The other day I put my coffee cup there and it made the 30 min ride south to downtown Indy. I couldn't beleive it didn't fall off.

Yup I'm afraid that a double football sized chunk of freezer wrap wouldn't be too good of an representation. No there wasn't that much breast meat-I just like to skin mine and leave 'em whole. I have been lightly stuffing them, wrapping them in cheese cloth soaked in melted butter and then putting them on the grill for a long cook.
