2.6 million wild deer legally killed (no telling how many illegally killed) in Indiana in modern times and not one is a 200" typical buck. Not a whole lot of 190s either. Once upon a time bowhunters in Illinois could kill as many bucks as they could buy tags for. They also kept non-residents out too. I'm a "Camp A" guy. I believe this is from a quote on page ten from someone about indiana compared to other states in big bick potential?

Looks like we are getting off topic and that is to congratulate ddrew1989 on a great kill. How about we just start another thread? ddrew1989's deer is a great buck and I do not see anything in that quote that you posted that said there were no B & C deer in Indiana.

How about we just start another thread? Please do.
This is not the place to discuss whether Indiana can or can not produce deer of this caliber on a regular basis. This is a congratulatory thread ONLY.

That is an incredible deer. I'm not sure I could keep from soiling myself if I saw that deer walking into my shooting lane. Nice job. I'm glad there are no deer like that in Indiana, that way guys can go elsewhere to find them.

That is a great deer. Did you get a weight for him? He is very thick and the hoof was huge.
