Hope this one doesn't go away like the Morgantown buck due to circumstances. I've always thought the new state typical record, a 200" typical, would look more like the Morgantown buck (similar to one I've seen in the wild with giant mass). Awesome looking deer, though.

Now that brings up an old topic that I was interested in reading about. What ever did happen to the Morgantown buck? Don't mean to change subject. I would like to hear the end of that story. If anyone know's where I can read about it and hear the truth I would like to know. PM me if anyone has a web site or anything with the story. Now back to topic.... Would like to hear and see the proof. No offense to the guy's calling this hunter out but he needs to be proven guilty before I don't believe that he shot it. So would like to hear this one. BB

I spend a lot of time in Versailles, and I've had four different hunters send me pictures of this buck alleging that it was killed near Canaan. So what is the real story? Does any one actually know this guy?

before this gets locked.. i don`t know mr.drew, never met him, i did send him an e-mail right after i heard he killed it, but i got no reply. i don`t know how this buck got killed,(would like to know). but with out a dought, 100% know this buck didn`t die from being a roadkill, as i have been hunting THIS deer for 3 yrs,not too far from cross plains... they don`t travel that far for does.. And i do have a pic of drew and the buck, at a guys place just down the road from where i was hunting the buck.. i do have trail pics, lots of them, and sheds from this buck,so thats my history with this buck... basicly all i know is mr. drew posted the buck i was hunting. and it was not anywhere close to vevey... i pm`ed both of you guys trying to get the facts, niether wanted to work this out in pm`s, you guys ever think it might be the wrong buck?? i know i would be really po`ed if i killed this deer and someone accused me of this with no facts... i would think a deer that big.even a road kill you would get a few pics of the scene..

i know for a fact that this deer was killed on Montgomery Road on the 13th of November. You stated it was killed the 13th (Archery?) but the B&C Trophy watch states it was killed the second day of gun (15th). www.boone-crockett.org/news/trophyWatch.asp?area=newsI see ddrew has logged in within the past 24 hours.

Yes, Let's be carefull throwing accusations around. It would be very easy for a jealous loser to register here and post false accusations. That said, Where in the hell is Drew and why don't he post any more?
