Getting a limit of ducks 2 days in a row is great. Learning a lesson which no one got hurt is not funny, but is a good thing.
Getting 30 days in the hole for telling what you think.? Was there bad language used? Was there name calling? I would hate to see this place get like flocknockers.

With the amount of kills that I post on here,, do you think that those come easy.. All of my hunting is done on public water.. I dig very deep and put forth alot of time and energy and $$ to get the results that I get. Sooner or later a learning lesson will appear. Its funny when I post up 2 days worth of limits of ducks I get 1 crowd saying "right on" Then when I post up a mistake I made,, I get a entire different crowd of response's??? Make no mistake about it, your hunting abilities are not any better or harder earned then most on here and have nothing to do with what you did. You made a bad mistake that some don't survive. We all have been there in some way or another, and we all learn or die. Glad you and your guest didn't get hurt and can do it again next weekend without tipping the boat! WW runs a great site, rules are rules and warnings are enforced. Sorry to see some of you all leave, but that's life.

I agree. Woody runs a smooth ship here. I have been waterfowling for 28 years, I am 41 yr. old and have seen some serious things happen while out hunting. I am piecing together what all happened with this hunt. First off, no one was injured! Second, A mistake happened, it could of had severe results, but it didn't. So lesson learned, the hard way, but I feel everyone should be able to vent, but just be thankful that you are alive to tell the story and let others know what the serious risks are when waterfowling and not making Safety First! I feel the damage is done, and with all said, we should let this one go. This site is a top class site! And I see Woodie as a great man trying to have a great site, so lets not let this one get down to the level of the other sites(not naming any sites names) but really this thread should just be closed and have it chalked up as a lesson learned. Mistakes happen, some with worse outcomes than others. We all some times loose our perspective on safety and what is important when the birds are flying and the blood is pumping. Take care this season, and we need to learn from others mistakes. But not slam the man. I would feel horrible if that happened to me, I would never forget it, and would hope that others learned from my mistake. Please take a moment to realize, that all of these men are still here with us, maybe to remind us what could happen!!!

No doubt,, it was my mistake and I admitted it.. Got a little greedy and ended up getting caught.. You can bet life jackets are in order for my future.. You mean you run the river all the time without life jackets in the boat. Tell me thats not so?

Thought you had to have them in the boat by law am i wrong ? You have to have 1 PFD (personal flotation device) per person, and if your boat is over, I think, 16', you have to have a throwable on board as well.

Things happen, WW is a class act, I've seen other sites as well that let the fighting and bickering go and go. I say lock this thread and move on. Just take what you can from this situation and do better. I'm just glad evry one is alright.
