They can do a cage match and it will not affect this site. Yea, a pay-per-view, shirtless cage match with the proceeds from the event itself and any betting through the Hunting Indiana sportsbook going to Ducks Unlimited. See the smiley; that was a joke.

All in all this whole situation is what it is... knowing Josh, he says what he thinks and sometimes that gets him in trouble... My problem with this whole thing is that when a deer hunter falls out of a tree and survives to tell the story, we all read him the riot act about not wearing a safety harness (normally we don't laugh about it)... when 4 duck hunters overload their boat and tip their boat over we're supposed to laugh??? I'm glad people are deleting their accounts because of their disagreement with the management and accounts aren't being deleted because they drowned last Saturday morning. Having hunted water for many years, we could all have been going to funeral's this week rather than having a wizzing match online... Knowing Josh, I think that's the point he was trying to get across, an accident like this isn't a laughing matter at all... Safety is safety, whether up a tree or in a boat... my 2 cents on the matter... that and $1.25 will buy you cup of Dunkin coffee ;D ;D

Well said Canuk. If a gun accidentally goes off, you don't joke about it. A few hunters are killed every year from overloading their boat, or taking their boat into unsafe water. I know one guy on here lost a friend this way.
If you see somebody doing something unsafe, let them know this time, there might not be a next time. That's my 2 cents. I think the Canuk's 2 cents is still stronger then mine, but mine will get you farther.

Everybody makes a dumb mistake at some point, I think most waterfowlers on here knew the gravity and could have bashed away about the circumstance. He screwed up and admitted it, maybe saving someone else in the future. I don't know if it is very classy to take an easy shot at him when he is down if there is already bad blood, jmo. I see this discouraging anyone else from posting some helpfull info learned from a mistake they made.

freedom... agree with your statement and like I said, I know Josh well enough to know sometimes he just says what he thinks and it gets him into trouble... my only thing is that an event that could cost someone their life and leave a wife and child without a husband and dad is no exactly a laughing matter to me...

With the amount of kills that I post on here,, do you think that those come easy.. All of my hunting is done on public water.. I dig very deep and put forth alot of time and energy and $$ to get the results that I get.
Sooner or later a learning lesson will appear.
Its funny when I post up 2 days worth of limits of ducks I get 1 crowd saying "right on"
Then when I post up a mistake I made,, I get a entire different crowd of response's???
