You know Pigeon...I've never had any dealings with you. Until now. You make threats to a friend of mine and well...that isnt cool in my book. Your post about "chit happens" regarding the situation wasnt cool either. In my opinion, you should have stated what you just did. However, I dont buy a word tht you just said. Your just trying to smooth things over. Your just all internet muscle imo. You put some guys in grave danger that day. It wasnt anything to take lightly. How would you have liked to have the death of three people laying on your mind for the rest of your life?

I believe that Woody should have banned both guys or not banned anyone. I sense some favoritism here. Anyone that supports someone sending threatening voicemails and txts is a loser in my book. I also wont support the site in which this all takes place. This is why Im joining my buds in leaving this forum.

I normally do not allow discussing in an open forum about the managment of this site. However, since some of you are upset about this, I will let this run for awhile.

Believe me, I get absolutely no pleasure out of sitting someone down for 30 days or banning them completely. Josh is not permanently banned. He has 30 days to consider if he wants to be a member here or not. If he wants to be a member fine - but he , like everyone else, will abide by the rules that everyone agreed to when they registered.

I've separated these two more times than I can remember.

Last time I told BOTH of them that next time somebody would be sitting down awhile.

PF posted a thread on his capsizing his boat and then that turned Josh loose.

Josh said that PF sent him "threatening emails, texts or voice mails" or something. I have absolutely NO control over what one member sends another member via emails, voice mails or text. That is between them. They can do a cage match and it will not affect this site.

I do have control over what is posted in the public forum here. That I take very seriously.

I talked this over with my moderators and we all decided that we needed to get Josh's attention. Evidently my asking and warning previously was not enough..

This site is supposed to be for good times and sharing. It is NOT good times for me to have to separate a couple members everytime I turn around.

I'm a very patient man, but my patience ran out.

As far as the people deleting the accounts - that is their prerogative. I have no control over that. I'll not change the way I run this site because some people leave or make a threat to leave..

I have met Josh and think a lot of him from his participation on this board. As stated, we as moderators have absoloutly no way of knowing what goes on outside of this board. The last time this happened, the consequences were made clear for those involved.

Putting myself in Josh's boots, I would have had a hard time not saying anything on the board too, even knowing the consequences.

I will concede that the rules are rigid, and in this particular case I hate to see it come to good people leaving.

That being said, I don't care to go to the Refuge Forums and several other sites because Admin and mods tend to take sides and let these types of things fester. It gets really old really quick. The rigid rules here eliminate that.

Don't think we took sides here, because thats not the case.
