If you measure greatness by public approval ratings then Sarah Palin is a great governor. I have read her record and it's clear that she has done many great things for the people of Alaska. But does she have the experience to be in #2 position in this country? THAT is the question that so many Americans have right now. The question on Americans minds and lips should be How does Obama have the experience to be in the #1 Position in this country?
Oh I know he voted present over 75% of the time. Except on anti firearms legislation.

You beat me to it. Just remember this downward spiral really started when the Dems got control two years ago. I'll take a minus 80 versus a minus 90 any day. Also on this day I will remember that Bin Laden if he is still alive is having to live in a cave.

You're wasting your time guys....... everytime 76, or one of the other Obama lovers get confronted with something questioning Obama's record they seem to find another thread to post on and leave the question hanging. Why? Because everyone knows that record for record..... Palin beats Obama in all categories, including job experience. It's just hard for these people to see that some folks have a stronger background than someone who was a Community Organizer.

I don't think we should attack each other based on ones candidate choice. Obama is a very serious candidate for President, each one of the four major players have their strong points.......and weak points.
Obama is not running against Palin, he is running against McCain
Is Palin ready to be president TOMORROW?...........probabally not. Is she ready to be VICE PRESIDENT......yes I think so, at least just as ready as Biden.
I like Barack Obama, I love listening to him speak, I think he is very level headed and I think he is sincere in his pledges. But with that said, I think McCain has far more knowledge than Obama. I think McCain has a better history of service to the country and I think BOTH candidates will do everything possible to effect change in Washington DC.
It's not November 4th yet but I am planning on voting for McCain unless something changes between now and then. I know of no one that is perfect.

I'm still amazed that anyone could ask about her credentials when the Democratic candidate for president is so lacking in them. Ditto. It's hardly fair for Obama's people to question her experience when Obama himself has a pretty thin resume....thinner than hers. The whole experience issue is largely a crock of s*** anyhow. How is anyone prepared for the Presidency when there is no other job anything like it? History is full of Princes groomed for the throne who failed miserably when they came into power, and history is also full of ordinary people who excelled when fate, ability, or some combination of the two made them number one. The scary fact is, we'll never know until they are in power.

I don't think we should attack each other based on ones candidate choice. I'll agree that we should not attack each other, but I'll attack statements and question the logic behind opinions all day long on this. I'm not one to throw poop on the wall so everyone can see it, then run away without taking questions as to why and how the poop was thrown. I'll make very pointed criticisms of BHO, and if any of the forum Dems want to take me to task on them I'll gladly debate my stance. My point was that it's normal for the few misguided souls on here to put up an anti-McCain, anti-Palin post.....and maybe respond a time or two, but when the heat gets turned up you never see a reply to the members questions...... Stick and run I guess is the technique.........
