Just noticed the welcome mat, trying to get back into hunting this year. Used to hunt as a child but haven’t in about 7-10 years or so, any tips for small game or deer or even shrooming would be very helpful. This forum looks great and I’ll be trying to check up on everything as much as I can, everyone so far has been very kind and informational. I look forward to learning and sharing this season.

Hi, my name is Chris and I’m 40 years of age. I’ve been upland bird hunting since i was 13 I’ve owned three 3 Vizsla pointers I’m on my 3rd one now his name is Ammo and he’s 10 months old.i was born and raised in Chicago moved to Dyer Indiana 2 years ago best move yet.

Hey everyone, My name is Seth, I'm 25 and have been hunting for a few year now. My dad wasn't a hunter, but some of friends dad's were, and so I've gotten into to it through them and absolutely love it. I wish I'd have done it earlier in life, but you can't have regrets like that. I hope to gleam some valuable knowledge here and I enjoy reading people's stories. I've hunted ducks and pheasants , been hooked ever since. Thanks for letting me join!

Hello all, I live in Westfield IN. I have been here with my family for 18 years. I am a active duty Navy Corpsman veteran and am still in the Air Force reserves today. I mainly hunt with a compound bow and also sling a few with a 1972 Fred Bear recurve bow. I do have a question about getting permission to hunt in a reduction zone. I live in a reduction zone in Hamilton County and I see deer daily a half a mile from my house. Mostly on wooded land along IN 31. There aren't any houses around the hunting area mostly just commercial for sale signs. I looked online and most of the land is owned by someone out of state. How do I get permission to hunt this land ? there are a lot of accidents happening across IN 31 monthly. Can we hunt along public roads like IN 31. Thanks for letting me join !!!!
