Chucker, are you the President of the Indiana State Trappers Association? If so, I'm very disappointed, and glad I'm no longer a member! High fence "killing" is NOT hunting, by any stretch of the imagination!

Chucker, are you the President of the Indiana State Trappers Association? If so, I'm very disappointed, and glad I'm no longer a member! High fence "killing" is NOT hunting, by any stretch of the imagination! I think perhaps Chucker is not who you think he is Decatur . I believe Chucker and I may have had lunch together once , along with Raporter1 and Jack Ryan , at the Spring Mill CACCC meeting . That would make Chucker the son of a certain well known deer procurer who is currently languishing in a federal penitentiary for being a very naughty boy . Am I right Chucker ? It's ok if you are , I prefer honesty as you may recall from our lunch discussion .

If I blew your cover I didn't mean to , Chucker . I know that the anonomity of the internet can be comforting , but you don't have to hide from me . I remember you , and what I remember was a young man who was passionate about what he believed . I remember a man who was willing to defend what others might denigrate offhand without looking further . I recall having an open mind and discussing something that some would consider taboo , including myself . Most of all , I remember sitting with you and just talking , and that was important , we can talk again . It doesn't have to be combat . Speak your mind . Granted , you won't find a receptive audience here , but you can make your stance known and speak your mind , that's something that all of us here respect . You said at the time that you respected my opinion , now this is the time to give yours . Rodney doesn't shy away from us , you shouldn't either . True discourse relies on honest debate , speak your mind .

jkd HSUS has been denied the right to litigate in the Bruce lawsuit. When/how did this happen??? "WASHINGTON – Wildlife Orphanage, Inc., a local LaPorte County wildlife protection and rehabilitation organization, and The Humane Society of the United States, a national animal protection group, have moved to protect the Indiana Department of Natural Resources' recent ban on canned hunting from a lawsuit filed last year. The groups' motion to intervene in a lawsuit over the canned hunt ban will be heard Friday, September 8, at 1:30pm, before Judge Lloyd Whitis, Harrison Circuit Court, 300 N. Capitol Ave., Corydon, Ind. " So? What happened?? Anyone know? .

I understand that HSUS got it's hearing on the intervention, but the judge has not issued a ruling as of yet. I suspect there will be a question as to their standing as a party of interest.
Whether other groups file to intervene remains to be seen...

Freeloader said:Chucker you're a trip. As a director of the ISTA I would have hoped for a more professional attitude towards this subject. Sorry to disappoint ya Freeloader but The ISTA voted to Oppose this ban and Im proud to do that because its the right thing to do.Now if siding with the HSUS is more professional than im glad im not professional. I guess this pic says it all. JRB's foxes you are taking credit for on the ISTA webpage and Spikes high fence. Man you really are grasping at straws aint ya?To start with your buddy Lonnie put that picture up on the website and you know it.But whats the differance? Are you jealous that Jason caught those foxes?Heck if you want a picture of what I caught maybe i could get a picture of those 4 coons i got last year?No wait that wont work Jason caught 5....I did catch more possums does that count?Whats Rodneys fence got to do with that? You wanna outlaw trapping too? Freeloader said :Keep up the good work old fella. Dont worry Freeloader I will keep up the good work defending sportsman against groups like HSUS while you side with them and search the internet looking for pictures of what I havent caught...Lighten up Frreloader lifes too short. What Me or Jason or Rodney does shoulnt keep you up nights.Rodneys gonna go on having hunts behind his the fence,Jasons gonna go on calling predators and im gonna go on trapping possums. All is well everything is fine and life goes on.I find your post amusing so feel free to post more because when it gets to rough for you its just right for me.Chuck Darn Chuck, You make feeling good too easy. I had to wait until I got back from Canada to take the time to respond to you because you are definetly not worth it. Chuck is a director of ISTA, not the President. And Chuck I never even met Lonnie before so thanks for letting us all know who you really are.

WELL WELL WELL!!! CHUKIE I have to take my hat off to you! I never thought I would see the day when one of you guys would admit the truth. You sir have proved me wrong. In your last post you admit that they are indeed PENNED DEER! Deer pens! Correct! Now if you can admit that you guys are running deer pens then surely you can admit there is know way it could even be remotely fair chase! ALL THE SPIN AND B.S. ABOUT THEM BEING JUST LIKE "WILD DEER"! HA!!!!!! Aint nobody gonna buy into that! Looks like free-loader has got you figured out. Nice try on your part. I'd think that the few folks on your side of the issue must chringe just a little when you post. Please don't stop cause you are doing a fine job of supporting our cause:>)

Well thank you Gundude! Yes I will keep posting as you guys are so easy to debunk....Deer Pen is that now a bad word?Should I have said fenced deer?Oh my what have I done.lol Go ask your buddies in the HUMANE SOCIETY if they perfer pen or fence.lol No on second thought that wont do any good as they oppose ALL hunting no matter what. After you all lose this deal are you going to snuggle up with the HSUS and try to ban some other outdoor sport?Like say Coyote pens or Rabbit pens? I bet you dont even like Chicken pens do ya? You guys are a lot of fun but like I said the sobbing is about to begin for those of you against THE BAN ON HIGH FENCE HUNTING!Oh my I just rememered my dog is outside in a PEN!!!!! gOSH WHAT WILL THE hsus think now? Sorry Chuckles, let me if I can break this down in a way you may understand it. FACT the deer are pinned so they cannot escape. FACT no way it can be considered fairchase if they are penned! Fact, they are really SHOOTING PENS! FACT if they are shooting pens then there is no way it could be referred to as "hunting". I know a bunch of the lazy slobs like to think they are mighty hunters and I know thats what you would like every village idiot to believe but it isn't working. FACT ALL the SPORTSMEN orgs are against this practice and would never call it hunting! I will agree that pens can be a good thing. People like Rodney Bruce and Bellar should remain in a pen as far as I am concerned.
P.S. Man give up on the old worn out HSUS thing. That line is still from page one of your defense book.
HUNT ON! FAIR CHASE!

Thats simply not the truth. The ISTA thankfully stood for ALL hunters!

I dont blame ya for wanting your support for the HSUS to go away,I wouldnt want to be associated with a group that has publicly stated that they want to end ALL hunting.

FAIR CHASE! I refer to them as Play-Pens, and they certainly are not fair chase. MOST hunters don`t support this kind of thing, and it`s worth looking at the hunting show`s on the Outdoor Channel. These guys know hunters are against that crap, and you`re seeing less and less of that stuff.

Well Chuckers , I guess you're not who I thought you might have been . Cool . I'm not surprised though , Chuck Bellar came across as a well mannered and even likeable fellow , both of which you display no inclination toward . Thanks for clearing that up .
