This same group of anit's has been claiming victory for months while I sat by and smiled knowing the real sportsmen would be taken care of. Spike & Chucker... So, I guess the membership of the IDHA, IBA, IWF and FCA aren't "real sportsman" in your book... Spike, this seems like similar language you were spouting during the last two legislative sessions.... didn't win there, did you... Think this deal is done.... think again.... the true hunters and "REAL" sportsmen in this state are about to rise up and make their voices heard, and if you think Mitch has "taken care of you".... you're in for a big reality check... BTW.... WHERE'S THE PROOF? Still waiting..... you say you can prove me dead wrong... bring it on.... what are you waiting for...

JKD, you're wasting your breath about proof. They obviously don't have any. They are typical of their species, try to loudmouth people into submission. They make me laugh!

Guys- The proof is that we are hunting this weekend and for many many more! I do not know if the guys this weekend are memebrs of the IBA, IDHA or not but a lot of them are. And yes they are real sportsmen. EDIT FOR PERSONAL ATTACKS
Gundude- Try another poll- Maybe if you do it just in YOUR own house you can do better than 64% like on here LMFAO, that had to be embarrassing for you.
JKD- Promises, Promises- You are full of them but none ever materialize. You guys are more laughs than the blue collar crew. I will give you some crumbs soon. Here is one- Did you ever think about things backfiring even more and new start ups being allowed without a sunset ? Think hard !
Happy Hunting !!!!!!!!

ww- I have been watching comdey central on here for a long time, seeing people "predict" "guess" "guarantee" and "Promise" an outcome to this issue that would go against sportsmen. All the while we watched with our popcorn smiling.
rmc- Had to extend season a little to try and accommodate all the Sportsmen.
Happy Hunting

JKD, you're wasting your breath about proof. They obviously don't have any. They are typical of their species, try to loudmouth people into submission. They make me laugh! yea you got that right. I have just asked a few simple questions just like Varmint did and JKD. I just wanted to have some insight to the "real truth" and yet none has been delivered. I mean what harm could come of showing the proof if it is true?.... And I am the king of Spin? ?lololollolol

gundude - I checked my wallet and darned if my Spin License hasn't expired... guess I'll have to take the recert course ASAP!!!!!
RMC - I caught that too... not sure what Spike will be hunting aside from squirrels or groundhogs... Youth Hunt Small Game and Deer weekends coming up are youth only, and UDZ's don't open until Sept. 15... Rodney, do you have a special deer season going on at your place?

Chucker- It's funny they can still post the BS meter when reality proves them wrong and the meter reflects their case. This same group of anit's has been claiming victory for months while I sat by and smiled knowing the real sportsmen would be taken care of. Their biggest problem was they underestimated myself and the real sportsmen, they have done it now and they have done it for the future if they they they have a chance of ever beating the real sportmsen of Indiana. These guys need to do like Kevy has done and learn to cope. You can't do a thing about so swallow your pride like Kevin and pretend you won. Gotta go- I have a group of real sportsmen coming in for a weekend of hunting. What does that do to the BS meter. Sha-na-na-na, sha-na-na-na, hey-hey-hey, goodbye.

If the proposed settlement was signed by all parties and the judge, that would be correct FOR ALL SPECIES OTHER THAN WHITETAIL DEER... "With respect to white-tailed deer, such species may only be shot during the legal hunting seasons established by the State of Indiana." (Paragraph 7)
So all other species listed in "paragraph A" of the proposed settlement order could be shot between Sept. 1 and Feb. 28, but not whitetails...
Also, it hasn't been signed as far as I know, plus HSUS has intervened in Rodney's lawsuit, so the settlement isn't in effect yet, and won't be for some time, if at all...

HSUS has been denied the right to litigate in the Bruce lawsuit. Right now a packet of legal procedings from the Harrison Co. Court involving IDNR and Rodney is on it's way to a national orginazation with considerable clout. I cannot name this org. at this time due to the open status of the litigation but I can say that this org. is our best hope now for defeating the settlement.
One nice thing about the settlement is that EVERY deer that is killed or otherwise dies on these canned facilities MUST be tested for CWD at the owners expense. I hope IDNR keeps a close eye on these operations and stops just short of harassment. Constatnt monitoring of these operations will at least keep the operators up a little later each night making sure they are in compliance with the settlement.
One interesting question: If a state or Federal law is broken or the settlement is not followed to the letter, I hope IDNR will confiscate all property and equiptment on the "farm" just as IDNR would if I got caught poaching!

Freeloader said:Chucker you're a trip. As a director of the ISTA I would have hoped for a more professional attitude towards this subject.
Sorry to disappoint ya Freeloader but The ISTA voted to Oppose this ban and Im proud to do that because its the right thing to do.Now if siding with the HSUS is more professional than im glad im not professional.
I guess this pic says it all. JRB's foxes you are taking credit for on the ISTA webpage and Spikes high fence.
Man you really are grasping at straws aint ya?To start with your buddy Lonnie put that picture up on the website and you know it.But whats the differance? Are you jealous that Jason caught those foxes?Heck if you want a picture of what I caught maybe i could get a picture of those 4 coons i got last year?No wait that wont work Jason caught 5....I did catch more possums does that count?Whats Rodneys fence got to do with that? You wanna outlaw trapping too?
Freeloader said :Keep up the good work old fella.
Dont worry Freeloader I will keep up the good work defending sportsman against groups like HSUS while you side with them and search the internet looking for pictures of what I havent caught...Lighten up Frreloader lifes too short. What Me or Jason or Rodney does shoulnt keep you up nights.Rodneys gonna go on having hunts behind his the fence,Jasons gonna go on calling predators and im gonna go on trapping possums. All is well everything is fine and life goes on.I find your post amusing so feel free to post more because when it gets to rough for you its just right for me.Chuck

Why would a judge have to sign off on a deal between the IDNR and High Fence Opperators? ?

Because that's how filed lawsuits get settled... the judge signs the order that sets forth the stipulations of the settlement agreement, and the order is enforced under authority of the issuing court/judge...

jkd HSUS has been denied the right to litigate in the Bruce lawsuit. When/how did this happen??? "WASHINGTON – Wildlife Orphanage, Inc., a local LaPorte County wildlife protection and rehabilitation organization, and The Humane Society of the United States, a national animal protection group, have moved to protect the Indiana Department of Natural Resources' recent ban on canned hunting from a lawsuit filed last year. The groups' motion to intervene in a lawsuit over the canned hunt ban will be heard Friday, September 8, at 1:30pm, before Judge Lloyd Whitis, Harrison Circuit Court, 300 N. Capitol Ave., Corydon, Ind. "

I was told that the HSUS had no jurisdiction to involve it's self in the case since it is a civil lawsuit. Guess we'll have to wait and see on Friday.
