Don’t let him fool you. Anyone can catch crappies where he does and the way he does. Haha

Decided I was done with turkeys for this week and slept in a little. 4 days in a row was enough. Good luck to everyone out there today.

Pretty much a repeat of yesterday morning. Few gobbles from the roost and then silence. Got my stake out blind in front of me and I’m sitting near my camera where turkeys have moved past the last 2 days between 10 and 5. I dislike deerkey hunting, but when they’re not talking not much else to do.

Yeah Columbus still has a noble Roman’s and the noble Roman’s craft pizza and pub have about a dozen locations. I know Greenwood and Franklin have one. The one in Greenwood is packed on the weekends.

Ain’t no quitting in you. Try the left handed or red dot options and choose whichever is best for you.

Pretty boring and slow today. Haven’t heard a gobble since about 7:30 or so and those two went the opposite direction they did yesterday morning. Of course.

Yes it’s safe. We’ve even sprayed it directly on our skin with no adverse reactions after getting seed ticks all over. Been using the concentrate for a long time and have had no issues with irritation or anything and it keeps the ticks away.

Went and did some walking around this morning. Between the drive and my walk I saw 14 turkeys with the majority being gobblers. Got to watch one strutting for a while not long after I got to the property. Then 3-4 others gobbling their fool heads off in another field on the opposite end of the property.

Since my son is no longer a youth I asked my daughter on the very slim chance she’d want to go as she’s never been turkey hunting and she said no, so like some others I guess I’ll have to wait until Wednesday.

My thoughts… There has to have been numerous hundreds of thousands of CWD deer killed and eaten. If it was truly transferable we would have had new “pandemic” on our hands by now. Hunt on folks… . Exactly! No scientific evidence as of yet so I ain’t scared. All the media needed was one little fleck of hope to pump their agenda out there.

They are quite delicious. I did it just like a brisket and wrapped at 160-165, cook to 200-205, and let rest in a cooler until ready to eat.
