I bought a Reveal and have been pretty happy with it. Tested in the backyard for a week or two, and just moved it to my lease property tonight.

I bought a Reveal last week. Pretty cool! Going to move it to my hunting lease property soon...right now it's just been in the backyard.

Ok, I could use some help here. I was drawn for Big Oaks for the first time. I'm reading through the lengthy notes and I'm getting a little confused.
Bag limit is 2 deer per day. On my two day archery hunt, you can take up to 2 bucks if you have earned the second buck by checking in an antlerless. So that would mean on day 1 if you get lucky enough to take a buck and a doe, on day 2 you would be eligible to take another buck and a doe, right?
Unlike park hunts you do need a license/tag for every deer you take. It looks like a number of different licenses can be used for those deer, though.
So I always buy the combo license, which lets me take up to three deer across all the different seasons, including 1 buck. If I buy a military reserve license, that would mean I could use it on a buck (or if I bought multiple licenses and got crazy lucky, I could use 2 of them on 2 bucks) WITHOUT using the buck tag from my combo license. Is that right?
At the end of the day, I'm unlikely to even get a shot at more than one buck across all my archery hunts combined, so I'm not really making plans for a multi-buck year. But I'm just trying to better understand how this all works and whether my understanding of the reserve licenses is correct - basically it allows an exception to the "one buck rule" by not using your primary buck tag?

Sounds like Indiana Gun Club does carry the Federal primers. I've found a fellow member who can help me get the small quantity I need, so going to go that route.

I'm trying to switch to Blackhorn 209 for my muzzleloader and I'd like to ensure I'm using a recommended primer. Unfortunately, I can't figure out where to buy CCI 209M shotshell primers locally. I can get them shipped but hate paying the hazmat upcharge. Figured I'd check if anybody has seen them anywhere within a reasonable drive of Indianapolis.
Another option would be Federal 209A but I think I'd like to go with the CCI option if possible.

I've made the switch to heavy arrows, which took a while to nail down. Now trying to settle on new broadheads. Also looking to switch to Blackhorn powder in my muzzleloader, which will require some time investment. Got cameras set up at my new hunting lease and have checked them once. No monsters, but some young bucks. I'm starting to learn the property...definitely hoping for a productive first season. Registered for my reserve hunt drawings. Lots to do before the season!
Did a fair amount of practicing with climbing sticks and a saddle a few months ago, but need to do that again before the season starts.

Me and everyone else, I know...
I had a lease get pulled out from under me mid-season last year. Thought I had one lined up from a coworker for this year but that seems to have fallen through.
Anybody got any good leads? Looking to split a lease?
I’m a responsible hunter, plan to practice QDMA approach, open to working as well as $ on an arrangement.

I'm making a switch to heavy arrows and some new broadheads. I have 3 unopened 3 packs of G5 100gr broadheads, 5 that have been opened but not shot, and 1 that's been shot.
Brand new from Amazon, 5 packages would run you about $200.
Asking $150 shipped for these.

I bought a set of Muddy Pro sticks and one of the ropes had a defect when it arrived. I just received the warranty replacement set...but in the meantime bought Shikar sticks and no longer need these.
$145

I'd like to try some, but the smallest jug with hazmat fee, etc. is pretty expensive. Anybody out there try it and dislike it? Or know of a place other than The Outdoorsman in Greenwood that's in the Indy area where I could buy it from a store? Thanks, Andrew
You ever down around Lawrence county? Got a whole jar of it don't use. I'm in Shoals once or twice a year, but that's about the closest I get. If I have a reason to be in your neck of the woods, I'll shoot you a message!
