My first sit of the season. I’m on doe patrol in my urban spot. Of course I’ll put my state buck tag on one given the chance. Good luck guys.

Well I wimped out. Played 18 holes and thought better of dragging and cleaning a deer in this heat. Next weekend is my wedding and then going to Alabama for a week so I’ll be out after I get back. Good luck guys!

I have two urban spots. Neither are good for morning hunts. I would do more damage than anything else. This evening I’m going to try to make it to my best urban spot.

Well guys Mother's Day festivities kept me busy all day but we still had a morning hunt. I was tagged out but working hard to get my dad on one. We had a very difficult season compared to past seasons. But this last morning we had, we called one into 20 yards and dad knocked him on his back! Very excited for him! Glad we didn't throw it in!

I got it done this morning! Switch was flipped yesterday on my grandpas place. Saw two gobblers pestering a hen last evening 3 huntdred yards away. Instead of trying to make a move then I figured I would wait till morning. Got in late but still early enough. The two I could hear were where I thought they roosted. I called to them but they had a hen with them at flydown. I let out some yelps sparingly and all the sudden a gobble let loose close behind me. Peeked around the tree to see him strutting staring my way. Called once more and then waited. I could hear his footsteps but couldn't see him coming untill he stepped out 5 paces from me and never saw me. He worked into the field and only made it 15 yards. 870 barked and my season was over! Breasted him out and made it to work a half hour early. Great morning in the turkey woods! Pics later in check in!

I found 4 very small greys yesterday before the evening showers. Very very small. They're marked and will be picked by my grandma and grandpa at a later date.

Haha! It was brutally cold. Seeing deer made me forget but then my hands froze cleaning her. Well worth it!

I killed a doe tonight in my urban spot! Very cold but very fun hunt! Saw a total of 15 deer coming to the cut corn field to eat! My season is likely done!

Thanks parrothead. I went and bought four packs. This should last me a while for a great price.

Arlowe, I saw that and was just thinking its weird that I can kill a buck with a gun that late, as I have killed my earn a buck doe in October. I was just making sure others got the same thing out of it. Thanks you.

Wasn't urgent so I figured I put it here with a lack of action in Live from the Stand.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I have the bundle license. In order to fill the doe tags on it I will need to use muzzy or bow. I also have an urban tag. I killed a doe with urban tag in October. I believe I can kill buck or doe with my urban tag with any legal gun still. Am I right in this thinking? Thanks for any input.

Dad saw a doe and a bobcat. Couldn't get a shot at the doe. Too thick. I saw a lone hen. Still nice to see new woods. We did some driving to scout after the hunt. Map they gave us wasn't very informative but we did alright. More prepared for next time. Did see a guy with a great ten point coming out of check in.
