Transition cover and pinch points between areas. Aerial photos will likely be more helpful than a topo.... In flat farm ground yes but if you are talking about hunting big woods a topo will allow you to identify pinch points, saddles and other terrain features much better than an aerial photo. Using the two in conjunction will help you get a good idea before you ever set foot in the woods.

WHOA!!I don't know what is going on here.. The report this morning at 5:20 AM CST was 114,474I looked at it about an hour ago and it said 114,669 and now it has dropped to 114,530Hmm.. computer glitch or hiccup? I've asked their IT guy about it... I'll let you know when I know.. My guess would be that duplicate entries were cleaned up

Truly a work of art, you are very talented. IMO that is the ideal weight for a deer hunting bow.

My dad is responsible for my hunting passion. He worked night shift and skipped sleeping countless days to take me hunting. He honed my hunting skills squirrel hunting with a.22 LR and we always had beagles and rabbit hunted every weekend outside of deer firearm and muzzleloader season. I naturally made the transition into archery hunting as well as turkey, waterfowl and western hunting. One of the last things I ever told him was a simple thanks for taking me hunting. My children are just coming of the age to tag along and I look forward to every minute of it and I can only hope it has the same impact on their lives as it has on mine.

Score 3 more for team #1 LCB! 2 for maddog's son, and one for me. Brings my total up to 14. We'd have hunted longer, but thunderstorms are rolling through the area. My son. First chance he's had to go, since the season opened, because of work. Brings my total up to 14. maddog Nice Fox Squirrels!! Fox Squirrels are mighty rare down here, in Central Kentucky, wish we had more. I remember bagging Fox Squirrels weighing two-three pounds each. These Gray Squirrels down here are a different "critter" being harder to hunt, and they are F-A-S-T moving and harder to spot. They are easier to hunt in Mid-December through February, when there are no leaves and the floor of the woods is some what more bare and free of undergrowth. I'm just the opposite I prefer to hunt grays which is what I have the most of in my area. I will move on alot of times when I find a fox squirrel cutting but not always especially on a slow day.

1. I work all night and hunt all day
2. If you call me during daylight hours I will answer with a whisper
3. Anything more than 3 hours is considered a good night's sleep
4. My diet consist mainly of peanut butter and jelly and granola bars
5. People you haven't heard from in 11 months start calling to see what kind of acation you are seeing
6. You start getting random pictures of people you don't know with deer they have killed

Add 5 more to team one's total. Was out for only three hours and had an easy limit. Keep up the good work. I'll be out of action for awhile.
