Awesome first day out morning started slow the. See. Five between 10-1030. At 1150 put arrow in quiver and tied rope to bow swung it over climber and as soon as I did a five pointer ran by at 30 yds went out of sight and came back five minutes later. Twenty minutes after he went out of sight began to get down again stood up looked to my right and three more does had slipped in 40 yds out, too thick for a shot. Finally after they left climbed down walked 40 yds jumped another big doe. Hates having to leave for work they are moving midday big tjme

At my girlfriends mothers this around noon today over off fall creek road. Look out the kitchen window and see a 130 inch 8 pointer not thirty yds from house. Noticed it had another deer with it about 15 yds back but couldn't see the head. All the sudden it stepped out and it was a big ten that made the 8 look like a spike. They milled around for a couple minutes and headed up the hill. Tried to get pics but looked awful on my phone. Couldn't believe not only seeing two bucks that big up close but together

I haven't seen anyone use this excuse yet. Does anyone think the last winter we had May have killed off quite a few. It was the worst of my lifetime and can't imagine that it was great on the herd either with all the ice and rediculious cold temps. What are the thoughts on this

Well last Friday had the buck off dreams run a doe within 25 yds of me. Unfortunately I was in the process of hanging a climber lol. Just hoping they were still going cause he was so into her he had no clue we were there and there was two people standing on the ground

Nothing compares tol seeing the buck of a lifetime walk thirty yards from you and be clueless you are there. But nothing is as gutwrenching as having nothing in your hand to shoot him with. Went out to the property today to hang my new climber and try it out. Picked the spot where j consistently seem deer move thru last year but to far out of range. I got about twenty feet up and was standing there talking to my stepdad I the ground. All the sudden heard something in the cedar thicket above me and out came a big doe with the biggest buck I have ever seen right behind her. She stopped for a second and seen my dad and wheeled off while he froze for a minute completely unaware that we were there as he was so focused on her. He was about thirty yards out wide open. He was a huge ten with g2 there were probably a foot long at least. My stepdad who has killed some huge bucks said that deer would go 300 live weight. Glad to know here is there but that was the sickest I have ever been in a stand

Buddy was hunting a week ago. Shot a doe around 4. She fell within 35 yes of him. He notched tag and drug her under his tree but didn't put it on her. He climbed back up to resume hunting and co came in threatened to write him misdemeanor and take all of his stuff because tag wasn't on deer. Even though it was ten feet from him. I was under assumption tag did not have to be on unless transporting in motorized vehicle and have been told by other co that as long as tag is notched you can drag thru woods without it on a deer what's everyone else been told
