Is the population down? Or is it that it’s at a good sustainable level, but now too many people complain because they don’t see 15 deer a sit. I do not think we will see population levels of late 90's and 2000's ever again. (Honestly, we had to many deer.) Last 10 years my hunting overall has been better. Less deer but quality and health are better. If anyone thinks we’re going back to 2000 levels they are gonna get a surprise….

I received mine and filled it out.
If I had my way, we'd leave things pretty much "as is".
I don't think we need a "velvet" season. The deer are hunted in this state for three months (4 1/2 months if you include the deprivation zone season).
The crossbow license being part of the archery license makes sense to me.
As for the rest of it, I agree with Woody's post on the subject.
