My wife got me a Primos double bull deluxe blind for my birthday. Not the see-thru one. I am going to set it up tomorrow morning. What I'm curious about is its wind resistance. I will absolutely stake it down well but, I still get nervous about the wind pushing the hubs in.
Does anyone have any experience with these?

Them are some of the biggest and heaviest blinds made… I use a deer cart to move mine IF I use it
There is nothing small about them….

So, are you saying they're pretty durable (when staked down properly of course)?

Good luck

Not sure your need to worry about side blowing in… that blind is made stiff!
I would put it up at house before going to field just so you know how it works!

Hope so! Calling for 30-40mph winds Sun and Mon. 🙄🙄🙄 For that very reason, I've been debating about putting it out but, I just don't have any cover where I'm wanting to hunt this afternoon. The decent bucks that had been on my neighbors and buddies camera have all been harvested. No one in that main farm has seen anything (mature buck wise)in over a week. The property behind my house has been untouched but on my side, it's just field. The large wood lot it butts up to does not have any hunters and that big ten has been very visible.

I say go for it then!!! I use long poles (3ft) staked in at 45deg angles on my blinds and NEVER had one get loose. I have neglected to pull them (this year, first time ever, stupid IDIOT me) and had them destroyed from storms. Stupid me. 🤬 I have never checked out a double bull blind. I cant even force myself to look in their direction due to the price. BUT, I am enjoying blind hunting more every year due to their safety and comfort. Since I trashed mine this year, I will be in the market for next season by turkey time. So would like to hear some thoughts and input to try and help me decide if it's worth my investment. Thanks.

SAVE THE BOX; If for some reason you need to have the blind repaired they have or they did have a lifetime guarantee all you need to do is return it to them. The most expensive part about returning it is finding a box that the blind will fit in. I would also recommend the Double Bull tri-pod seat it is very comfortable. Save and watch the video on how to erect the blind it is a bit confusing.
Set your blind up in a garage, spray it down with a water repellent buy a couple of those screw in dog stakes and also buy some parachute cord.
My blind is 10-12 years old and it has allowed me to spend long days in the field through rain and snow.

You will be very happy with it mine is older and still a good blind I’ve bought some knock offs they are in the trash already I use the screw in stakes run to the eyelet and tie off if I’m in a area with trees I’ll tie off to the trees I believe your far enough south but I have a T post I use in the center when I leave to keep snow from knocking the roof down My blinds go out end of August and stay out till I’m done usually end of December
When your done with them set up in garage and let them dry out and spray with waterproofing

Well, putting the blind up was an epic fail. I watched 2 videos and followed the instructions. However, two of the top rods the meet in a corner have become entangled. I fussed with the blind for 2 hours trying to correct it. Ultimately, it appears I have to remove the top hub, untangle the rods and replace. Very disappointed that it came out of the box that way.

Dang it. Hope you can get it squared away and used sooner than later.

The older I get the more appealing blinds and shooting houses are looking. It wasn't *THAT* cold out tonight, but that wind was brutal as I was sitting on the SE corner of an open field.

They're definitely nice to have. I too was seated on the se corner of an open field. The wind wasn't horrible though.
