I’m sure that the US can tell just from satellite images when Iran or anyone else is starting to get ready to launch a missle.
Iran was lucky no one was killed or injured as they would have been really bombarded.

I wonder who was on that plan. All flights where grounded at the time it took off. Took off without approval. Who was trying to escape?. What is the truth.

Where did you hear that all the flights were grounded? Link? I heard on either CNN or MSNBC that there were several planes that took off that morning from Iran and none of them were shot down. Just curious why there are difference in the news reports.

Iran was lucky no one was killed or injured as they would have been really bombarded. Yes. The USA's satellites saw iran moving these missiles around and fueling them up as they are liquid fueled rockets. We must have seen them firing the missiles too. Not sure how long the flight path of those missiles is or was. But we had plenty of time to get our men underground. I think that the fact that Iran fired accurately guided missiles at our air base and hit exactly where they were suppose to is a game changer in this battle. We only occupy about 25% of that Iraqi airbase and all the missiles hit our US portion of the air base. That is pretty good accuracy. Iran has a lot of these ballistic missiles. They only fired 22 missiles from what I've read and heard on the main stream media outlets. CNN and MSNBC is what I watch most of the time. I do switch over to FOX at times like these as they give good news on wars. I want news not propaganda. I wonder if the USA is capable of defeating Iran in a real war?

You don't want propaganda, but you watch CNN and msnbc? Yes, I watch CNN and MSNBC. I also watch CBS and NBC. I watch PBS as well. I know you may think that they are biased but I found that to be false. I get good news from CNN. Now MSNBC is biased to the left. I take that with a grain of salt. It depends on which hour you watch any of these cable news channels. These days they have people on TV giving their Own OPINION and not the news. But other hours on all the channels they have other people that actually just give us the news. I also will watch FOX news at times. Just don't trust Hannity or Laura and a few others on FOX as they are really too far to the right and all they do is knock the left. I want real news, not propaganda. And by propaganda, I mean personal opinions that are not the news just their own opinions, etc. I like to figure things out myself and don't need some talking head telling me what to think. Maybe propaganda is too strong of a word to say. PS that woman on MSNBC who repeats herself over and over again like she is trying to brainwash a 5-year-old drives me nuts. Some people call her "The Neck". I can't think of her name right now. She is gay and has short dark hair. Rachael Maddow. I had to open another link and go to the msnbc web site to find her name. Pain. I have to turn her off when she comes on. And Wolf Blitzer drives me nuts too. He's too damn pushy for my taste. And if the MSNBC people have anti-gun people on I find myself talking to the TV and switching over to Fox. Most of the time when I watch the news I flip back and forth from one channel to another to see what each TV channel is pushing or talking about. They all have different ways of doing the news.

8 Katyusha rockets were fired at Iraq's Balad Airbase where our USA troops are also housed. 4 wounded including 2 officers. But, I think they were all Iraqi soldiers, not any US personnel were hit. Also, mortar rounds were fired and hit the runway.
This is not over and Iran's proxy militants are not going to stop attacking the US Troops. Shia militias are all over the middle east and they intend to kill any US troops they can.
Edit: Now CNN is saying that no US people were at the Balad Airbase at the time of the attack. Can't believe anything anyone says anymore. How in the He(( can a US Airbase not have any US personnel? That makes no sense to me. And why would the Iranians attack an Iraqi Airbase if there were not US personnel there? Makes no sense.

You`re intuition is keen, there`d be no reason for iran or their proxies to attack these bases unless U.S. troops were there. It`s unthinkable to me that the liberal puppet media aids and abets the enemy as they have. They`re praising the terrorist general that was killed in the drone strike and attacking President Trump yet again. They`d burn America to the ground if it would tarnish the legacy of this President. I sincerely believe the President should have bombed iran into the 17th century after they fired missiles at U.S. troops, and that his failure to do so will further embolden iran to continue their attacks on the U.S., whether by proxy, or by them directly. Never mind that iran is the world`s leading state sponsor of terrorism, funding hezbollah and hamas, in their quest to hurt the great Satan, (the U.S.), and the little Satan, (Israel) iran is actively working to obtain a nuclear weapon and have gladly and loudly told anyone who would listen that they live, solely to wipe Israel off the map. This isn`t over as the President would have liked to believe, and before it is over, it will require the President Having the stomach to do the difficult thing, and shut iran down.

I agree with you gregr.
The USA will have to put Iran down or this will not end. Trump can't let Iran keep attacking us. And I would condemn Pelosi and all the doves that are trying to tie the President's hand with those war powers actions in the house. Hopefully, the US Senate won't go along and Trump can always veto those. The President may not have time to order our troops to take actions at times. And Iran is not going to stop as shown today when it was reported that they fired more rockets at our airfields. Now they were not ballistic missiles but none the less they can kill people. Iran has been pulling this Cra* for too long. They attacked those ships in the Persian Gulf, They shot down our Drone, They attacked the Saudi Oil Refinery, They captured some of our small boats, they attacked our US Embassy in Iraq and not to mention the Iranian revolution and their attack on our US Embassy in 1979 and the taking and holding our US Diplomats for over 400 days. It's these stupid doves that are afraid of war that bug the heck out of me. What do they think we should do. Act as Nevil Chamberland did before WWII? No thanks. I learned a long time ago that you have to stand up to bullies.

Nope, They where trying to sneak people out before Trump blasted them. They really thought they killed Americans and hell was going to break out. No airport would be open during a military action. Just common sense. Plus, most don;t know the FAA regulates almost all world flights. Look it up.

They thought they had killed Americans, they intended to kill Americans, and it`s crazy to say that, well, they were just trying to "save face", no harm no foul. They committed an act of war by attacking our Embassy, and they committed an act of war by firing missiles at us. What are we doing here? Who else will we allow to attack us and we`ll not respond?
