Should get a good feel for how the late antlerless season is going to go with this weekend results. (Lot less counties participating). Pretty good forecast so I'm going to predict 1500 ish for Fri-Sat-Sun. Yep… Only 146 since yesterday but most of the state had rain...

I had 107455 in your well what’s your best guess we are over that I still think it will be under 110,000 IDK weather forecast looks good rest of antlerless reduction season. Standing at 108,400 total now. Looking at last weekend harvest I suspect we will be around the 111,000 mark when finishes up end January.

I've said for months that 120,000-125,000 was my guess for this year's harvest. Of course if we have another crappy opener for the firearms season, that number will be significantly lower...just like last year.I think we'll end up around 110,000. Still a solid 10,000 down from my estimate. But...the fireams opener was down 10,000 deer...so there you go.

Comparing last year's "special antlerless season" to this date...
2017 - 2,350
2018 - 2,093
Difference - -257
Interesting in that there are a lot less counties included in this season this year

Antlerless season is tracking pretty close to last years take so if that holds true this weekend we will easily pass 110,000. (Currently as of noon today we are at 108,656.) Weather forecast is favorable through the weekend so many will be out trying to fill last tags. I'm expecting another 1500 to 2000 through the 6th "late antlerless season" and another 200-300 for late urban and reduction zones ending Jan 31st. That would put total harvest at somewhere around 110,400-111,000. My personal take from season is DNR's plan seems to be working. Said they were going to a maintenance phase and with the reduced antlerless tags and many counties not participating in late antlerless season harvest seems to have leveled off. Expect more county bonus tag reduction's will be in store for 2019 season.

I would have to agree top to bottom that numbers in all my areas of parke and johnson seem to be good. And in all my work and travels other areas look good. I will say there are no shortage of hunters that I can tell. Looks good for next season, wouldn't change anything.
