Just passing along IDHCA's post on FB to here for all here:
2018-2019 County Bonus Antlerless Quotas are set, some tidbits about it:
-Downward trend in quotas continues for another year.
-51 counties saw a drop of some kind (55% of counties)
-40 counties (43%) did not change, of those 25 were 3 or less quota counties (includes the two A counties).
-Only one county saw an increase (Clark).
-In 2017-2018 season 52 counties were eligible for the special late antlerless season, this year only 25 will be. Meaning nearly 75% of the state will not have that season.
We at IDHCA urge each and every hunter to reflect and study your specific localized deer numbers to see when and where harvests may or may not be needed. This can change across a county mightedly.
Together hunters in a community, county and state can and do make the biggest difference in conservation!!

Interesting breakdown.
Is IDHCA another new group? I've never heard of them, but I don't do Facebook.

Yup, www.idhca.com also. Going about forming an official non-profit organization and truly striving to be the #1 resource and source for hunters in IN but also the DNR.

Once officially set up legally and formally. Actual memberships will be processed upon request and eventually small dues will be needed but projected thought is first year can be a prove it type basis with only a free will donation offered if one chooses. Otherwise would be entirely free.
Many groups have thought "likes" or "followers" on social media is true memberships. Nope. IDHCA wants to go about it all correctly and appropriately, also will always strive to hear out and project even when possible every stance various hunters of the free ranging deer herd in Indiana have.

I do know they desire to work with all but will not formerly be a part of or have others be a part of it. Maybe I am not following what you're saying though. I know I personally will stop all involvement should involvement occur with some.
