If anyone that is doing the survey could you see what percent you are at when the CWD questions start there is a percent guide at to of survey page. Seems some are saying that half the questions are about CWD it didn't look that way to me. I kept an eye on the meter but it was completely misleading. I was only about 3 pages into the survey and I was already at 75% . Each time I would click to go to the next page the meter would move less and less every time. It seems like I was at 90% for about 10 pages. There were a lot of CWD questions...at least 10 pages worth. The survey was way too long. No wonder they use a misleading survey meter. IF they didn't, nobody would complete the survey.

The meter to me was merely calculating sections of completion...I am betting on the back end there were questions clumped together and it was tracking sections done not the entirety of the survey as a whole.

I took the survey yesterday. It was long winded. I think I should have studied a little more on CWD. The spoke of antler size, points, etc. but not much mention on age. I think there are several hunters that feel age is just as important as size. If not more important.

I'm transcribing the whole survey into word, will make available if anyone is interested....once done I'll share overall thoughts, % of questions on CWD (which many have wondered) and such....

The questions on CWD almost wore me out! Me too ! Wasted a whole lot of survey time on CWD, something that really has not been much of an issue in this state. No mention of EHD, and that was a real problem in 2012. Some was covered, but I was hoping to see much more regarding bag limits, seasons, legal weapons, habitat, public hunting ground opportunities, etc. Have done a bunch of these. I'm not confident we will see any significant change to improve things.

It seemed like i made very little progress in the percentage bar, then it jumped way up and stayed there for a while, then it was just over.

I wish I knew more about the DNR's plan for CWD before I took that survey.

I did my part and took it yesterday. I wasn't sure how to answer the CWD questions, but I feel like the DNR has solid plans in place.

Little tidbits about the survey:
Total of 187 questions (includes all sub-questions or situations asked to respond to...does not count "choose from following" as multiple)
Only 180 total questions IF your county of residence was different than hunting county chosen.
87 questions about CWD (or few other diseases/illnesses)

Still left out. No survey in email yet. Did you search spam and trash folder? Did you make sure the email on record with them? secure.in.gov/apps/dnr/portal/#/registerClick the login in the upper right, and then check profile email they have on file once logged in. I changed mine a couple years back so I know it can be updated or changed.
