I use the Barnes original 300 and 57 grs. n120 orange mmp sabots . Where the heck did you find VV powder? I am looking for n110 to replace my International in my duplex load. There is a guy at the Nappanee gun show that usually has VV powder. The show is 2x year, usually last Sat in March and October.

The cleanliness of smokeless powder is the sole reason I traded my Omega (plus $$) for a Savage ML10. I don't give a hoot, or am able to tell the difference) in velocity. I simply got tired of dragging my cleaning gear along to the range.
The only negative is having to weigh and pour granular powder.

Kempf Gun Shop in Michigan City stocks it. Or if you order online from Natchez, Grafs, Midsouth, etc, you can buy up to something like 32# on one order and hazmat fee. Or split with some friends to split up the cost.

I'm definitely on the market for a muzzleloader. I really like the Traditions Vortex Strikefire. I haven't settled on that yet but, it's a front runner.

I just use my RCBS powder drop ,once set ,make up about 40 charges in small vials that I can seal with a stopper. Same thing I did with my sidelock but with BP. Unless your refering to the pellets.

Same type of vile used is hospital for blood collection but a plastic type cork in it.

I carry my powder charge in a 300wm brass with an earplug to seal it. Has its own funnel. If I shoot a duplex load of two powders, I tape a 223 brass opposite to the 300wm brass. Bullets, veggie wads, and primers are in vials and a loose set in a zip lock bag for fast follow up.

I've got two of the Magnum EC-Loaders www.rmcoxyoke.com/inc/sdetail/rmc_magnum_ec_loader/6552/201It has a self enclosed ball/bullet starter. You put the Loader over the end of the barrel (guide is sized for the barrel)with the starter in the barrel. That lines it all up. Pull the starter up and twist the loader one click. That drops the powder in the barrel. You then push the ball/bullet starter down. Remove the loader and finish with the ram road. Put you cap/primer on and fire away. Pretty quick and simple..
