Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. Thunder possible. High 54F. Winds WSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 90%. This for the the Switzerland/Ohio county area
Doesn't look good for Saturday. Hope it changes for the better.

The evening and Sunday could be awesome for movement though after front through.

The evening and Sunday could be awesome for movement though after front through. Thinking the same thing and the hunting pressure might still be low. There might only be the die-hards out there on Saturday.

If it's raining I'll stay home,I'm too old and got plenty of time to be out in nasty weather . Now if I was still working and only had a limited time available you're darn right I'd be out there, but with my health I usually only make it out 5 or 6 days anyway and have 16 days to choose from, plus muzzle loader season if need be. Why be all wet and miserable if I don't have to be.

Way too many birthdays under my belt, and not infected with horn porn to be out there in the rain all day. Have plenty of time to hunt in more fairer weather.

I'm not about to break my streak of 28 consecutive years of hunting opening day of gun season. I'm thinking that a lap around the property will keep my streak valid. I won't stay long in rain and 20 mph wind.

50 deg and 74% chance of rain on Saturday; 34 deg and 70% of snow on Sunday up here (NE Ind).
I will be in the field both days unless there is lightning. I don't feel comfortable sitting in a metal tree stand in a thunderstorm.

I won't lie... rain or shine I'll be out there. Have had many many sits where I've questioned my sanity for being out in a tree... what's one more.

As it gets closer I'll be poaching patrolling most likely till afternoon due to weather. Just not a fan of potentially losing blood trail due to weather when I made the decision to cause it by hunting in it. Still undecided if I'll keep bow or grab gun though...

There still seems to be some uncertainty as to when this front is coming through. If it's possible, I'll be out early Saturday morning and hunt for a couple of hours.
Or...if it passes through earlier than they are saying right now, maybe I can get a hunt in for the last couple of hours of the day.

How's everyone feeling about Sunday morning? Hoping to see them still chasing in Greene County. I think the bigger fellas started chasing a little later that usual this year, but that just may be me.
