What's the best pair of warm boots? Or what combo of socks and boots are best. Any more I just can't keep my feet warm on a stand. I wear 1500 gram insulated waders duck hunting and I guess move around a little more and I stay warm in colder weather. Not the case in a deer stand.

It helps to keep your feet insulted from a metal stand with a foam pad. Pack style boots with felt liners that fit loosely are about the warmest in my experience. Wear a pair of wicking socks and then wool socks, no cotton on your feet. With socks, your boots should still be loose enough that you can easily fit a handwarmer in the toe section.
I have to tie mine tight so I can walk comfortably to my stand. Once on stand I untie and loosen.

Dry feet beat everything....you could have 5000 gram insulated boots that freeze your feet if moisture builds up.
I am ozone treating some boot sleeves you put on after getting to stand for really cold days, pops has diabetes and his feet freeze in anything 50 degrees or less really no matter what until he started using these with a hot pack inside them (not the boot).
Wicking sock, high quality merino wool on top and a solid boot (I avoid rubber for moisture issues) does me fine down to freezing temps so long as not hunting longer than 4 hours or so.

I️ got a pair of black Mickey Mouse boots last year for ice fishing. They do a good job keeping my feet warm while standing on ice all day. I’m thinking about breaking them out if I️ can kick this sore throat!

Try thinner boots to prevent sweating during the walk in, but then slip on a pair of Arctic Shield boot blankets. They are about $50 and worth every penny. I am thoroughly convinced that sweat is the #1 cause of cold feet. I also have a pair of Thermocell heated insoles. Pricy, but worth it to me. I just got home from freezing my arse off in the wind. The only parts of me that stayed warm were my feet and hands. I use a Cabelas hand muff with hot hands inside the zippered pouch.

You've heard solid advise. I use the same, moisture wicking socks, under wool socks. I do wear my heavy muck Boots though. I also like the toe warmers.

Now if your hands get cold I bought some rechargeable hand warmers from Rural King. Man they do a great job. Only stay hot for about 6 hours but great investment.

What I️ do that makes a huge difference for me is pack extra socks in. Once I’m on Spotify take off boots and switch socks. I️ don’t get cold feet anymore hardly

Sock liners, wool socks, a boot big enough to wiggle your toes.

What are some good sock liners? I've been putting the wool directly on my feet. It keeps the pain away, but not toasty warm.

I had wool socks with old rubber boots today. Stayed warm enough. What killed me was cold legs and fingers. Hand warmers were nearly not enough!

What are some good sock liners? I've been putting the wool directly on my feet. It keeps the pain away, but not toasty warm. I have a few pair of white polypropylene liners I bought at Rural King years ago.. Your feet are going to sweat...the liners do nothing more than wick that moisture away from your feet. The wool insulates even when wet. No cotton. Ever.

I have a pair of boots that are a size too big. When it's really cold I throw a disposable hand warmer in the toes before I put my foot in. I'm not much of a cold weather hunter. I prefer to get my deer as early as possible.

For cold weather I use a pair of those rubber bottom/leather top boots that come with the slip in heavy felt liner. I wear one pair of socks and I apply stick on foot warmers to the soles of those socks, keeps me warm all day. The key to using these boots is to dry the liners and the inside of the boots when done, the rubber bottoms will cause your feet to sweat.
I also bought the boots 1 size larger so that I have plenty of wiggle room.

I second the Mickey Mouse boots. I have had problems with my feet drying up an cracking when wearing wool direct so I put a cotton or synthetic sock on first.
