Black Mickey boots here too. They are the lighter weight ones. Several buddies have the white ones. They are heavy, huge, and are for super cold. They don't wear theirs too often, saying just too clumsy. I have NEVER been cold in mine. I wear ankle socks, and have been in negative temps several times out. Not very expensive, but not easy to find either, when needing size 13 or 14.

I have the arctic shield boot covers. Work pretty well. Allow me to walk to stand in lighter boots so my feet don't sweat so much. When on stand i slide them on and throw some hand warmers in with them

What's the best pair of warm boots? Or what combo of socks and boots are best. Any more I just can't keep my feet warm on a stand. I wear 1500 gram insulated waders duck hunting and I guess move around a little more and I stay warm in colder weather. Not the case in a deer stand. Boot blankets. They work the best in the world. Make your movements in the stand a little quieter also. Put them on as soon as you get into the stand don't wait till your feet are cold or they wont work.

What I️ do that makes a huge difference for me is pack extra socks in. Once I’m on Spotify take off boots and switch socks. I️ don’t get cold feet anymore hardly You have to turn Spotify on first? seems that would "defeet" the purpose of being quiet.

Putting bread loaf bags over your your feet before you put your boots on works good to. Especially if you have a hole in your boot where water can get in.

I've had the best luck with Bass Pro Redhead Wool socks, the heavy wool pairs and a 1,000 gram Thinsulate Goretex Redhead boot combination. I tried liners but they didn't wick like I thought they would so I tried just the wool and they keep my feet pretty warm on stand.
