We got wind and drizzle at home, and no stinking power, again. So, had to drag out and set up the generator to get the family going. I said heck with hunting after all that! If it stays like this don't think you will miss much Had deer on trail cam most every day here at this blind by now not even a bird out in this crap

Time is here as just about all my hunting friends are reporting seeing multiple bucks on the prowl for doe's over the weekend. (2 harvested very nice bucks Saturday). The seeking phase is on and should continue for next 5 or so days with chasing to follow. (Love this time of year.) Gonna get out as much as possible this week and vacation begins this Friday. Good luck all.

Dang you do need to get one of those whole house generators dang things go for a price but it maybe worth it for you It is a big one to run the whole shebang, just not the automatic start and switch like a Generac. Unfortunately way too expensive for me on single income family. We do just fine with ours. Just got the call school is cancelled. I checked the outage status online, and supposed to be restored around noon.

We sell/install them a small 7.5 kw won't do a lot but will run a gas furnace frig and some lights still around 4500 and up to buy and install it. Get a 20 kw and your 8/9 thousand but it will run about every thing you want in your house

Eased out before the rain hit. I'll get back out here in a bit after it passes. Cam still showing nighttime movement. Have a real nice 8 that came thru just before daylight a few days ago. Does are pounding my mock scrape. Exciting time of year!

Kids got the day off school because of the power outage. Bet they were happy to hear the news, but I don't think the wife was very excited about it lol

Two hours late and still nothing. They keep delaying it an hour at a time. Junior and I were out scouting, and wife called to say generator shut off. She was trying to blow dry her hair. Lol. Oops, it ran out of gas.

I get home from work around 4:30 to go out hunting. Of course the rain is moving in. Might still go out if not windy.

Dad called about 45 minutes ago to tell me one of the target bucks was in the foodplot cruising for does. Said he's definitely a mature deer. Big 4 point left side and a big fork on the right. Trying to get caught up on household chores today and I'll hunt from Weds on.
