Ditto on the cold. Heading to the barn to feed horses. That will be the extent of my outdoor activities today

Heres the big nanny I shot yesterday eve. Ohio co, latest I've ever deer hunted in a season let alone kill one. First time I've ever hunter in that part of the state. I must say im hooked, beautiful country to say the least. .308 did work again. 40 yard shot, she ran another 40 and piled up. She was quartered to me a bit, that is exit hole in the pic. Did not leave one drop of blood except where she laid.

11 below zero here with a wind chill of 21 below. Went out to start the tractor and ATV's and move some hay to the horse barn. Lots of layers on. Still was cold after about 30 minutes. Couch looks mighty inviting

Outdoor activities will be limited this week to tending to horse's and livestock, driving to work and keeping wildlife feeders full. Short of that be in house staying warm.

I ain't gonna lie, NOPE.
We use one to two deer a year. My son and I both got one in October. The people I try to help out aren't starving and my "comfort" isn't worth their freezer fodder. They can come over and have dinner.
I have enough wood in the basement to tell me that activity can wait. Supposed to be 30 next weekend. I'll go work in the heatwave and keep my butt inside for now.
Going back to work tomorrow is gonna suck, but the bills require my presence.

Yeah; JDUB gave me the BB so I'm not going out in this. If next weekend gets up above 30 I may go out

I know where they are walking in a good funnel area between woods and field, but I'm not going to field dress a deer in below zero temps. Like what others have said, if it gets warmer towards this coming weekend I might go out again.

Like what others have said, if it gets warmer towards this coming weekend I might go out again. Let it lay for about 10 minutes and it will be frozen solid, then, field dress it with a saw and chisel. LOL! DON'T BLAME YOU!

I killed a doe tonight in my urban spot! Very cold but very fun hunt! Saw a total of 15 deer coming to the cut corn field to eat! My season is likely done!

Haha! It was brutally cold. Seeing deer made me forget but then my hands froze cleaning her. Well worth it!

Having a heat wave up here, only -3. Looks like we will get above 0 highs for the next week. Our -3 is a lot more comfortable than Indianas -3.
