If you overseed clover does it have to be tilled in?

Got my second 3 acres "planted" this past Saturday.
Drank a combined 170 ounces of water and Gatorade without ever "relieving" myself.... To say a sweat a little is an understatement.
For that plot I tried the "throw n mow" method. Sprayed the field 3 weeks ago. Broadcast seed then mowed it last weekend. Rolled with a cultipacker. The thought is that the thatch will keep the seed moist during the first week of growing.
Now I just have 12 stands to hang and a second tower to build....

Well the weather forecast really hurt my food plot plans for this weekend. Might have to just broadcast and hope for the best without working the soil.

I am hoping that it will be dry enough to work the soil and plant by Monday afternoon. If not I am just gonna go the throw and grow route this year.

Last I seen they are predicting anywhere from 1" to 3" rain. track is shifting a little south so probably closer to 1". You will probably be alright as your plots are up on top mountain.....lol

No when you first come down our deas end road there are two small fields. We are setting up a kill plot this year as a test and probably something bigger next year to see if we can pull deer from across that main Rd and from across the creek.

Been my experience that deer prefer to come down to feed in bottoms more than going up hill to feed on top's. Most likely bottom's have better soil and produce better browse and food.
