This crowd and the hunting community leans right and conservative for the most part, so may get a skewed opinion here, but this is an observation. I'm 57 so not the most experienced, but over the last several years I've never seen so much outright political hatred as we have coming from the left liberals.
These folks are not just disgruntled, they are outright mad and angry with the current Trump administration and are doing everything within their power to keep the hatred and anger alive. I've seen friends get boiling mad in arguments and get up and leave. Some won't come around others now because of differing political views. Social media which used to be fun is now overcrowded with political hatred.
I really think the Obama administration in it's last few years and particularly during the last election cycle did a whole lot to anger and divide America. I wasn't thrilled when Obama got elected (either time), but I didn't scream, cry and moan about it for months and years afterward. And in reality, the sitting president really hasn't had much personal effect on our lives anyway. Shut off the news and get on with your lives.
Thoughts?

I think one side is nothing more than a mirror of the other....the left is no worse than the right and no better than the right.
I will say the left does go out and organize protest more than the right does.
Conservatives as a group seem to earn that name by being conservative .... not vocal, not in your face ...
Its easy to overlook or forget the folks calling Obama a Kenyan born Muslim that had a secret mission to destroy America or implement marshall law to stay in power and tear up our Constitution when you lean the way the folks saying such things lean. It happened. Every bad thing a person can say or do about Trump was done with Obama. Was done with Bush. Was done with Clinton. Will be done with whomever follows Trump.

My over simplified opinion is the media is liberal leaning and will exploit any attack on a president expressing conservative values. Controversy and shock sell media. Did you hear a lot of conservatives praising Obama? I can only remember a few governors thanking for the response to Katrina.

I am 67 years old, so I have 10 years on you steiny. Yes it seems like politics & hatred, in this country of our, is becoming worse & worse, considering the recent behavior on both sides. Some of the politicians have become more like enemies against our Country; and if things don't turn around soon we'll lose this country. Other countries already look upon our country as a "Joke" & "Paper Tiger" and they are all laughing at us.

Nixon got into trouble on many issues. These left-winged protesters should be arrested if and when they do damage like they did in several States. I just hope we don't have to see another "Kent State" shooting in 1970, but all indications point to some organizations going to make this happen unless something more is done to prevent it. BOTH PARTIES have the responsibility of keeping the peace in this country!!

Imagine if MSNBC was filled with 10 hosts similar to Sean Hannity instead of folks like Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews. And it was hurricane Sandy. Over the course of his 8 years in office Republicns took over 1000 seats nationwide from the Democrats. Just because Democrats are louder does not mean they are more plentiful. The mid-terms will tell the tale. If Republicans lose big then Democrats might have something to hang their hats on.

And in reality, the sitting president really hasn't had much personal effect on our lives anyway. Shut off the news and get on with your lives. Thoughts? Yep, you're right, no comparison. Violent protests encouraged by the exiting president... It will get worse as they don't work and have plenty of time to burn the cities down, protest violently and call evil good and good evil. Hey, if storks really did deliver babies, would there still be a demand for killing them before the stork dropped the basket? Shooting them out of the air to their deaths before the eye could see them would be called murder then. In a court of law, kill a pregnant woman and there will be two murder charges. Did I say "murder?" Or is it that the woman was murdered and the baby was just aborted? ...not to mention KILLING a STORK! Ohhhhhhh that would really get some jail time, but human fetus ...nah Who wouldn't want to do anything possible to keep out terrorist? ...the left led by the dominate left media. It really appears that they would cut off their noses to spite their faces. I was one who thought President Obama was deliberately trying to destroy America, but really all he did was injure the middle class, and increase the debt as much as all the presidents before him combined. That man was good at what he did. The lower class did well with many more handouts. The union middle-class turned against its party as evidence to my point. We were quickly heading for a two class country, the haves and the have nots on their own. I really think Obama was the bigger racist against the "white" middle class as he and the "welfare stuck poor" think of it. After all, "We didn't build that." We didn't get up and go to work everyday while millions can have more babies to draw a bigger check. Then teach the kids to do the sames! ...totally unsustainable! ...what you say? Well, as long as there is no debt limit and no reality, it is sustainable. I thought, "He really can't be this stupid or incompetent, can he? He must be doing this deliberately." Well, possibly I was wrong and he was incompetent, or he just wanted to give as much as he could to the already "stuck in the hand-out system." This didn't hurt the hated rich class; it hurt the middle class and cost the Dems the election. It seems that we've traded one egotistic narcissist for another, but at least the latter is a workaholic who wants to expand the middle-class, keep terrorist out, and reduce the debt. I for one would really like to see him get a chance to do it, but the left doesn't want any of it to work and WILL do anything in their power to stop it.

Trump will not leave office with the debt any lower than it is now.... Im a skeptics skeptic but considering the Republicans had 6 ing years to come up with something to replace ObamaCare with (or my preference, just repeal it and let folks fend for themselves) and they have come up with nothing ..... its a joke. Get Gorsuch confirmed and then just dont do anything to screw up my day to day life and Ill be happy with Trump.

It's always been a war. It's just been unmasked as the number of people fed up with hypocrisy and two faced scheming have strengthened their numbers. I give credit for that to the aging of the population. I've always pretty much considered myself a regular average guy and as a 62 year old I'd say in pretty well in the bell curve. May be not, but I'm gonna figure it that way if any one else likes it or not. I'm old, I'm fed up, I'm not wasting my time watching the commercials any more and that goes for the people who are nothing but a walking commercial just the same. I call idiots for the idiots I see them as, scam artists, hypocrits and crooks the same. The above pretty much covers at least 90% of the political parties. They all claim to be different saviors of society but all they really are is self centered narcissistic con artists. "Fixing" healthcare is not really any kind of problem at all. Paying for all the low life lazy and worthless dead beats, drug addicts, and criminal low life invading leeches to have free health care, that's the trouble they are having. Figuring out how to convince the people who have jobs, work, or have already worked all their life and have a little savings that THEY ARE NOT THE ONES paying for those dead beat loafers to get a free ride is the con they are selling. Republicans and Democrats the same. Here's my minimum test for you to have an opinion on ANY THING that would affect ME. 1. Stand in the middle of the nearest street and POINT IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF WASHINGTON D.C. If you can't do that then and get back to the french fries. 2. Calculate the sales tax in your head for a $3.50 purchase and count back in to my palm accurate change from a $5 bill. If you can't do that don't even open your mouth about the economy, trade, or taxes or your college dept issues. 3. Spell out the entire words for their, there, they're and the complete definition for each one, out loud, from memory. If you can't do that I don't care what you think about what the president of the United States said yesterday or has to say today.

If President Trump can leave office with zero gain to the debt, OHHHH man, what an accomplishment!!!
I really can see why a lot of people are liberal though. Most news agencies are liberal and bombard the public with it. I do remember when news was just reported. It's pushed in the schools now by left-wing teachers. Oh, let's not forget Hollywood. They get them young now as their heroes and celebrity idols indoctrinate the impressionable minds to the ways of the LEFT. If a school kid uses the wrong descriptive term, he/she is excoriated by the people we pay to teach them. Unless a person is able to rationally think for themselves, they'll fall into the same mold.
No one wants free stuff taken away. If I got free (to me) lunch everyday at work, I'd think I was getting screwed if I had to start paying for it. Yeah, I hear it, " As long as Trump doesn't take away my free phone, free Internet, free health care, free food (yeah, free lunch), my monthly check and supplemented housing, I'm good with him. Oh yeah, and I expect a raise when I have baby number 8 ...my momma got one. I mean after all, if it's not sustainable, then the whole system will crash and we'll all be equal. That's the way it's supposed to be, right???
I can see how a man who likes to wear dresses and makeup might want to use a girls public restroom, and thus vote democrat. I can see how if he happened to be a pervert molester, he might want to throw on a dress and take a peek. Hey, he probably wants the same opportunity to molest my little girl as the guy did when she was 5 years old. Yeah, I can see why he'd want to go to the girls room. He has rights you know.
AND, I can see how guys who get excited for proctology exams might want to vote liberal. It doesn't matter if our country collapses to him as long as he gets the right to marry his boyfriend and get benefits as the spouse.
Hey, ANYONE who knows me, knows that I have a giving gift. I have compassion on those in need, and even those hard working folks who just squeak by. I feel sorry for that guy who has only one gun. I won't make more money this year, but I will give away more. Oh, and my giving does not get written off as a tax deduction. HOWEVER, the same source that makes me look for opportunities to give, says that if a man will not work, he doesn't deserve to eat. Bottom line, if they can't, I want to do it for them. If they can, offer them a job. If they won't work, let them go hungry. Our government makes it practically impossible to get out of the trap! Keep them dependent and they'll keep voting for you.
Hey, I just had a thought, "I do get free lunch!" ...as a retired employee of 34 years. At least I'll be able to get one meal a day as long as they stay in business. Thank you all who buy the things that provide a check for me each month.
Oh this reminds me of the rich and out of touch. They have forgotten who made them rich. Movie stars are not rich because the movie label likes to give them money. I know that some and maybe more than some of the poor people I know pirate the movies. It's the middle-class who pays for the movies, and makes them rich. Talk about biting the hand that feeds them. Out of touch.

Looks like the Republicans are putting off the healthcare vote in the House today..... In other words....they didn't have the votes. I haven't seen it. I really wish that they wouldn't rush this, and make it a good one. There's no doubt that it's complicated. Just competition alone from state to state is not enough to still provide healthcare for everyone and not cost more money. The conservative plan is that our government is not required and should not be involved with providing everyone coverage anyway. So the conservative plan is to let the American public do it themselves just like a farmer plows his own field. That's the plan. However, we cannot take away what has been given.... So, now they're stuck with trying to make a better or less of a mess out of it. Twenty million more people covered, and this is the celebrated achievement of the Obama administration. Those 20 million either get it free, OR have it now, but didn't want or need it. The little girl who cleaned my office could not afford Obamacare. THESE are the people who needed help, not the give me more crowd. It was drain more from the middle-class and give it to those who do not work. The disabled had it to begin with. At least those rioters had insurance in case they burned themselves, got shot or cut on a store front window. This is the Obama's homeland army that he wanted so badly. He got it, and now we have to deal with it.

how can they not have a serious health care plan? They had 6 years to develop one! The "Perfect" Question!! Why haven't they come-up with a replacement plan in six years... Either they lack the "testicular fortitude" to make the tough choices or they can't figure out a better plan or they don't want to p*ss off the insurance lobby or they have found out it's tougher to govern than campaign or......a bit of all of the above.
