They sure did. I have one and they're pretty accurate. They had a 9rd cylinder and various barrel lengths. If you come across one. I would go ahead and replace the hammer spring and connecting Y. The Y is made out of plastic which breaks over time causing misfires. They're plastic and steel replacements. I can't remember exact cost but 20 bucks comes to mind. I have a H&R Sportsman Model 999. It's a break-action 9 shot revolver with wood grips. Believe mine has a 6 inch barrel. I don't think there are any plastic parts on it. Mine has plastic grips and inside the grips is a plastic y at least on mine

Rough riders are junk when it comes to accuracy Stick to the ruger mks or single six...they'll outshoot a lot of rifles. Put a scope on them and you'll be amazed what they are capable of. Some swear by the browning buckmark...I swore at mine, damn jammamatic. Don't think it ever ran a single mag without at least one issue. Tried many brands of ammo. Bought it brand new. Accurate, but unreliable A buddy has one and has the same problem. He gave it to me to try and fix, I oiled it, then ran a box of 50 without a hiccup. He let it sit for a month, went to shoot and had the same problem. Long story short, it was the Rem Oil that I was using. It was drying out between the time I had it and he shot it. I lubed it with a home brew and he hasn't had a problem since. It likes to be run rather wet. Lube it good, wipe off excess, shoot, wipe off excess, keep shooting.

I sold it many months ago. I have no tolerance for guns that picky. It either runs, or I'm done lol

I almost "pulled the trigger" on buying a Charger last fall. Looking at all the available info on the web and judging from my experience with my 1022T rifle, it seemed to be the best choice for me to be able to strap on a pistol and hunt squirrels again without needing an extra arm to handle my Marlin and use both hands for some occasional needed help in quietly navigating through the woods in my approaches.
I didn't do it at the time, but it's still on my mind. The price at Rural King dropped to just a whisker above $200 on the basic model, including the bipod and an extra magazine of higher capacity. Figured I'd never use either accessory, and probably wouldn't use the "soft case" that came with it, but the deal still sounded good, and the reviews I found all said the accuracy was great and would compete with the rifle.
I had shot some Remington subsonic .22 LRHP's that I'd bought while .22's were still hard to find, and the accuracy with them through my 1022T, with scope and off the bench, was the best I'd ever experienced with anything! One slightly ragged hole for five careful shots at 35 yards. And no failures to fire or load, like used to be reasonably common with Remington ammo back in the day, before I switched to CCI long ago.
Still undecided on what sight to use and what holster I might be able to use to carry it, but I suspect I'd be completely comfortable with the purchase in terms of accuracy and reliability, and also resale if it didn't turn out to be as useful as hoped in my particular case. Sounds like it would probably be a very good choice for you as well.

I love my Ruger MK IV 22/45 Lite. Accurate with open sights or red dot. I mostly just use it to dispatch coons, and occasionally range shooting at steel plates. The grand kids have a ball with it and are proficient. I have added a trigger kit from Volquartson. Glad I bought Blazer and CCI ammo when it was cheap, have enough to last as long as I’ll need it.

As for .22 pistols, I have a Ruger Single Six convertible, a Ruger Mark II or III, and a High Standard Supermatic Citation and a Supermatic Trophy. I don't think I need another. LOL

I have a S&W Victory that is accurate and isn't too picky about the ammo I feed it.
