Congratulations, Squirrel Hunter. They're so cute. It reminds me of when I was little and my siblings and I would go feed ducks at the lake in the park. When there were ducklings, I always wanted to take them home, but my mom said no. When they are big enough to roam around, I am sure they will enjoy their home in your yard.

What kind of ducks are they? I'm not 100% sure but I BELIEVE they're Muscovy ducks, won't know for sure until they're full grown. They could even be a cross between Muscovys and something else, hopefully I'll be able to tell when they're grown up.

I lost 2 of them to something last night,I'm thinking it was probably a weasel,so I brought the other 2 back in the house. If I can't capture whatever it was before they start getting their feathers I guess I'll give them to my neighbor.

Thanks.......Just haven't been having much luck with them lately, was getting pretty attached to them already too. I'd hate to give them up but I don't want anything bad to happen to them either, even though later on when they're grown a coyote or something might get them anyway

Here's the big arse rat I caught in the duck building last night,I skinned out 1 of his back legs (not an easy task) to use for bait to see if there's anything else down there.

Rats do indeed dig tunnels. We used to have rat killings at our buddies turkey barn and there were rat tunnels everywhere.
