Boone think this heat wave will have any effect of day time movement?

As far as this heat.... Ugh... Imo the only way does will get consistently up on their feet is if they're pushed.. Friday will be the "light switch" day..

I wish you did too. That way we could move into your house in Parke county. Its really not nice for top ten county folks to make fun of the struggles of those of us who are not so fortunate. LOL!! I am not bringing that smoker to you now! Well maybe........ Hamilton county 2014 harvest: 182 bucks, 335 antlerless, Total 517 Parke county 2014 harvest: 893 bucks, 1,486 antlerless, Total 2,379. Go ahead, rub it in, but remember what I told you. You gotta be a better hunter here, than there. LOL!! Waving at ya from Moontown Road!! I always drive down hinkle right by diabetes camp and watch the area to see what deer are doing.. Usually it coincides with my property in fayette county.. Wish I could find closer to lease ugh lool. We are darn near neighbors. How about the DRZ north to 256th and east to 19 and west to 31? Covers a lot of land

Warm weather definitely slows down movement but if there are hot does pushing, chasing and seeking will still happen without a doubt. As a matter of fact I'm banking on it.

Brother in law was out setting traps this afternoon around 1 pm and said he saw 2 150" and a smaller buck running 4 does around. Just proves if a doe is hot there isnt much thats gonna stop bucks.

Rut going right now but only seeing chasing at night driving home lol. In these temps I almost fall back to my early season tactics, food sources in the late evening. Brother killed a doe last night hunting on edge of cornfield right at dusk. Have yet to see a deer in the morning this week

Chasing is going on. Saw 7 different bucks last night. Buddy has had 4 different bucks chasing around him this morning. Temps might keep does from moving but the bucks are getting in the mood and might be up and moving at any time. If your not hunting your missing out IMO. I gotta head to work or would still be out.
