Just listened to a radio show where they were interviewing a guy from Houston. He said most teams in the league are tickled to death to finally see the NFL come down hard on the Football Team from Massachusetts (he called them by their name, I won't). He said it is widely known that they cheat in MANY ways...from messing up visiting teams communication feeds at critical times to listening in on halftime locker room talks. I have heard several people around the country say similar things. Just a slimy organization.

I'm a player fan. I followed Bledsoe thorough college and that was the only reason I hitched my wagon to the Pats. The reason I continued to root for them and not the home team is Indy has one of the worst fan bases in the NFL. There are more bandwagon fans in Indy than any other city I've ever lived in. Pre Manning's ring how many games did corporate sponsors have to buy up bulk tickets so we could watch the game. Luck had a losing season you will see the same thing. Same with the Pacers. They are winning they have fans. Several years ago I did a job for at that time the assistant coach to Brown. He was begging me to take tickets that were reserved for him and his family. His reason. Try to get people in the seats. Indy will support a winning team. Let them start losing and the rats jump ship.

It really is. Case in point. Everyone puts Chicago high on the list of sports fans. Blackhawks in particular. In the mid to late 90's they were near the bottom of the NHL in attendance. The Colts have had one of the best home fields in the NFL for MANY, MANY years. They have one of the most die-hard fan bases in the league. The year before they drafted Luck, they had the worst record in the league and STILL sold out every game.

Its not true of most cities. Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cubs fans Boston, new york. I could go on and on. Indy is a city of bandwagon fans. Nothing against the true fans. I've said it before. I was extremely happy that the true colts fans that are true fans got a ring under manning. Just like I was extremely happy the Sox fans got a pennant, just wish it didn't happen the way it did and at the expense of my yanks. If you truely believe that most cities sports fan are compared to Indy's you've obviously never been out of Indy and during a losing season. Yeah they call for heads to roll but they still back there team.

Forbes ranked on several different categories. One of which was consecutive sell-outs.
Nobody in the know would say Indy has anything but a rabid fan base.

I went to the Colts game at Tennessee this season and it was half empty and half or more of the fans there were Colts fans.
You are living in the past on your opinion of Colts fans. The team has built a huge and loyal following that isn't going away. There were rough times in the 80s for sure, but those days are history. It took some time to build a tradition, but mission accomplished.

Ok, Span. Let's see..you are a Pats fan and a Yankees fan....hmmm...
Who is your favorite NBA team, let me guess...Lakers? Was Heat, now Cavs? Maybe you are a Spurs man? Maybe Celtics?
How about hockey? Bet you are a Blackhawks man...
I'm detecting a pattern.

Actually I gave up on baseball after the they destroyed Yankee stadium. Just something you don't do. Don't follow basketball. Coming from the way coast you play basketball if you can't play any other sport. Hockey? Seen one game. Hold about as much excitement as soccer. No again I'm not a bandwagon fan. Your first sentence proved that. I don't consider myself a Hoosier. I root and support my team through good years and bad.

Give them one, maybe two losing seasons and say the same. They built a loyal following by winning. Where were those rabid and loyal fans through the loosing years?

Oh, and I just checked the odds. Colts still favorite to make Super Bowl from AFC. The team from Massachusetts is the second favorite AFC team. The Team from Mass. Is going to have a devil of a time getting home field advantage when they start off 1-3 during Tommy's suspension. Jags are the only win they will get in the first 4. Here is a link to current odds. www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/futures/Might want to check every other outlet. That's the only one that is showing colts better and as of right now it's even. Parts still between 7 and 8 -1
