Has nothing to do with being a professional sport Wow. Take a deep breathe. I never said it wasn't CHEATING aka "dirty water" if you want to call it. It's still Professional Sports. There's a list of people that's KNOWN for bending the rules. The over seeing bodies do nothing about it and go on. The body and the "dirty water" guys just keep on making the cash. There in every sport. Some of the worse ones are not in the pro's. There just practicing for when they make it to Pro's. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just pointing out a fact.

The ONLY way to stop cheating is make the punishment severe enough that people will not take a chance. This will be slap on the wrist fine and loss if a first round pick - which would be last pick anyway. Big deal, ? The Ravens should be the ones really whizzed off. That game was a one score contest. .

Likely won't be any fine....investigation was inconclusive and there remains plausible explanations as to how it occurred without any intentional tampering.

Hardly the first time in pro sports; stickum on the gloves, pine tar, spraying cooking oil on the jersey's. I'm betting over the years plenty of teams and individuals have broken rules. Don't see this as any different. Fine and suspend Brady for a game - OK I can go along with that; but don't act like this is so much worse than plenty of other things that have gone on over the years. Brady's numbers were actually better in the second half than the first FWIW. I'm having a hard time getting overly bent out of shape about this, but I'm not a Colts fan either.

You would have a hard time finding an organization in any major sport that has not "cheated" in some way or another each and every year....
In the end Brady got his 4th ring and positioned himself to be in the conversation of the GOAT. The Patriots further cemented themselves as the most dominant franchise in the last 20 years.

The real question is does the league take action based on a report of "maybe", "possibly" and "probably" ....

I could find a man who would swear the moon was made of cheese so Im sure I could find someone who says its the reason the Colts lost the game .....

I haven't heard anyone blame the loss in the Colts game on the balls either. It's the Ravens who could have a real case. They were the ones who tipped the Colts off to the deflated footballs in the first place. Their game against the Cheatriots was more competitive. Ravens lost 35-31.
This also comes into play when gambling on point spreads is factored in. Millions of dollars hang on point spreads. If a deflated football results in one extra score here or there, regardless of whether it impacts a win or loss, then a lot of people stand to lose a lot of money. That is where this starts to get really serious.
Messing with the integrity of the game is serious. They've been caught twice now. One wonders what else they've been up to that has not yet been brought to light...
