I chose my stand on the north west end of the farm because that is where the deer sightings have been lately. Now I hear the neighbor running a combine through the standing corn, 300 yards from my stand. ..... on the south east corner. Be ready for deer getting run out of the corn and seeking cover. Sometimes they run in your direction.

If you'd have been deer hunting, you'd have been covered up with squirrels.

Been down here hunting since last Friday, set every day in proven spots in both Cass and Pulaski with NO deer seen. Went to a small patch woods in Fulton county this morning and seen several at a distance and 2 dandy bucks that ran a fence line up to my brother in law, four shots with four miss's...lol. Still have tonight and tomorrow to get it done before heading back north.

Greetings ridgerunner There is no bag limits at all over here, I cull deer for a living and my firm want a hundred does from my area this season We grow trees and deer eat the trees, there is no shortage of deer of any species in the uk. There are ten of us in this district and will harvest between two and a half thousand to three thousand deer per year. That's roe, red and sika My area is all roe thank the Lord, lol heavy enough for me, give the youngsters the reds I say. Regards Billy.

Went over to hunt tonight. We have about an inch of snow so since I have not been seeing any from the stands I figured I would stalk the walking trail that goes all around inside of woods. I was surprised to only see one set of tracks in the snow. It has been down since yesterday afternoon evening. With this in mind I pulled camper and came home. I have not seen.a deer in the woods or fields in 2 weeks so I am giving up on it. I do have an other place but I do not have much confidence in it but it is more than the one I just left. I will hunt there hoping some thing comes thru an they do not stay in that small woods (5 acres) only pass thru at undetermined times. I will just have to be there when they are but at least I know if I am there I will have a chance as the place I just left I do not feel I even have a chance. Sorry about the ramble I am just a little no a lot depressed about the hunting season. This is the worst season I have had in 20 years. And in that season I killed one with bow and passed a doe in gun. I have not had a shot this year. Really wanted to put some meat in the freezer. Hope Ohio is better heading there wendsday to hunt thurs, fri, sat and sun

Sat with a buddy on the ground this evening against the river in a narrow strip of trees watching the crp where it transitions to a cut bean field.....saw 6 does and 3 bucks including a shooter 8. 265 yards with a stiff crosswind was as close as he got.
Dad was on the other side of the farm and had another shooter at 50 yards but couldn't get a shot. His buck was running a doe.

Sometime between me seeing the combine running and climbing a tree, they quite for the day with only a portion of the corn cut. LOL! Needless to say, I didn't see anything.
