The price of ammo & striped lowers are dropping everyday, NOW is the time to buy one or build one. Building is almost always cheaper than buying outright & it is so easy to do. And a lot more fun too..

Looking to get an AR rifle and wanted some opinions. What is a good solid mid range type rifle? What caliber is best? Ar-15's only come in .223 caliber. If I were you I'd wait and see what happens with all this anti-gun talk as you might buy one only have it taken from you by the Gov. Might be better to buy a Bolt Action or Pump Rifle instead. Just my two cents worth of advice. Daniel Defense and Smith & Wesson or a Ruger 556. Those are the one's I like personally. You said mid range in pricing. The DD suggested retail prices is around 1795.00 but that can vary depending on what you get. They make a lot of different type or AR15. And they also make hunting AR's at their subsidiary company Ambush Firearms.

AR15 come in 300 black and NATO 6.8 or 7.62 caliber uppers too. They are not just for 5.56 or .223 ammo. At least that's how Ambush Firearms sells their AR's on their web site. www.ambushfirearms.comLooking to get an AR rifle and wanted some opinions. What is a good solid mid range type rifle? With the price of all ammo climbing and becoming in short supply, it's a whole lot cheaper to practice with a .22lr. Well that's why the price of 22 LR has climbed so high and there is very little supply of 22LR left on the store shelves these days. It's sold out in the first day at the store after it's delivered to the stores.

AR15s can be found in cal.'s from .17HMR to .50 Beowulf. Your choice of cals should be based on what you are going to use it for & how much you want to spend.
