Started in in 93 first hunt in South Carolina. Since then Have killed them in Georgia, ALabama, Mississippi, Kentucky and Indiana. Right now I can prove 30 meaning I can find the spurs and beards but when I think back I am thinking around 35. I didnt take a lot of pictures like I should have and like I do now. I keep a photo album now.

There are a couple on here w/very impressive numbers. Nine years and eight birds for me. Got skunked last year. One was a beared hen, and one was a jake. Most were shot in Warren County.
My favorite is the one my dad finally shot. After a few misses he finally shot a jake from about 20'. Never seen him get so nervous. Even after he shot it his hand was shaking awful when he went to pick it up.

No larryhagmansliver I have not killed them all there was still plenty of birds down that way when I lost my hunting spot down there because another hunter could not follow the only rule we had STAY ON THE PROPERTY.Makes me sad and angry everytime I think about it.It was nothing to hear 10 to 20 toms on the roost every morning.I am done back to the topic.

Yea The Liver was joking. I hate to hear of anyone losing their hunting ground. I would love to ask you to hunt with me if you are from down there JE. I don't happen to own any of the properties I hunt though. I hope you can find another spot soon.

this will be my 5th season. I have killed 3 birds, 2 jakes, one gobbler. two down south near the Ohio river, one in Sullivan county. Last year took my step dad for the first time and I called one in for him. It was a really cool hunt. 21 lb, 10 and a half inch beard, 1 inch spurs. He is now hooked.

My first season was 1998. Killed the first bird ever taken on Splinter Ridge FWA (as a FWA) and a buddy called it in for me. Since then I have called in every bird I have killed and have NEVER USED A GUIDE. I free-lance hunt out of state.
23 birds in 8 years: 8 in Indiana 1 in Florida 1 in Tennessee 2 in Texas 11 in South Dakota (2 with bow)
...and I still learn something new everytime I'm in the turkey woods.
