Only a fool would want the OBR gone. You may be right. Who wouldn't want to support trophy hunter welfare?

Now I can go back to killing two bucks a year again, oh wait, I never did it when I could! In related news, our man Mitch has also decided to go to the Illinois season structure after looking at the amount of money hunters are sending to the "trophy states" with more progressive management.

Now I can go back to killing two bucks a year again, You always could kill two bucks or even three here in Indiana. You just need to take advantage of some bonus hunts!

WRONG-You could always kill two bucks legally here in Indiana, WITHOUT taking advantage of bonus hunts. But that`s been taken away by some special interest groups. Nice try though..........

WHATEVER it is that`s being beaten, it`s being beaten because there is a real passion about this subject. Try as you might to stifle the debate, try as you might to make the debate "civil", it WILL go on, and the emotions WON`T subside.

My input on it is that it is a dead horse. You all may beat on it all that you want, but it will never get up and walk again. But, you are right. We can be passionate about a subject, but we will be civil about it. At least here we will be. .

It is a passion driven by a selfish greed for antlers IMHO. If its meat one wants, there are many antlerless deer to be taken. If it's an additonal challenge one wants after harvesting their one buck, then target a mature doe. Or better yet, lease a farm in an urban deer county. Funny thing is, guys are killing second and third bucks a year anyway and having their wives and/or kids or other family members check them in for them.
