I seems that the rut has been slow, but steady around here. I've seen chasing, rubbing, scraping from about Nov. 5 to today. I know its mostly yearlings now, but I have continually seen rutting activity. Seemed like the bucks disappeared for about a week and a half about the 10th through 19'th.
I walked back to look at moving a stand to a fresh line of scrapes and rubs, and had to stop short and watch 3 bucks, (including a good one) chase a couple of yearlings around. Actually seen 10 total deer tonight come into the corn. Probably trying to get some grub before all the weather hits tonight. I just backed out so not to spook them.

It peaked between the 4th-7th here. It died by the 11th for the most part.
I thought it would be best around the 9th-11th and didn't even realize what had happened until it was too late. *sighs* The hardcore action was over by the weekend!

There was no rut - that woud require having bucks around.

The last week of archery - first week of firearms provided the most activity in my hunting areas.

I'm still rutting in my area. I chased what I thought was a hot doe last night, but she had a head ache. Oh well maybe tonight. I'm still laying down scrapes and rubs. With that said, really in my area what little activity I seen was the last week of bow season and the first of firearms.

On November 6, on my way to work it looked like a deer cluster bomb went off in Western Scott/Clark Counties. They were everywhere and chasing hard. I will DEFINITELY be saving some vacation time for next year that week.

Saw bucks chasing does around November 5-12. Seemed to locked down on hot does after that and not a lot of movement unless you were close to where the doe was.
