No snow and the topper to the whole deal is I had my personal truck (plow truck) and 2008 Subranban broken into.....shattered front passenger windows....between 3:30am in my drivewayand 4:15am when I left nothing stolen put the cigeratee ash tray that I used to hold change. 1 other car in neighborhood was hit but they walked up to each and every car in neighborhood and wiped away the snow to look inside. There were 4 sets of prints and they were also using a car. The officer who came to my house said there were 4 others in Fishers and 40+ in Lawrance last night! 1" inch of snow here. rented $2200 in equipment for my properties and snow removal, and didn't use any of it, weatherman SUCK! They were calling for 6+ inches even as late as 11:25pm last night! Did run 6 plow trucks vs. normal 35+..........sucks! But none of the 9 operators ran equipment! Hello Feb. I hope you end soon or at least my luck changes !

I'm glad to see you all care that I had 2 of my vehicles broken into while sitting in my driveway in Fishers, NOT the ghetto! When getting windows replaced found out they damaged metal framwork on 06 Duramax and on 08 Suburban all to get maybe $10.00 in change. No one cares I'm sad, but I have the 40 S&W now loaded that usually isn't but I do carry unloaded it is reloaded now!

Sorry to hear about that Mullis... I had the same thing happen to me last year..... x-mas night they broke in to my truck and my wifes car and stole all of my daughters x-mas presents from my family... in order to et to my wifes car they broke in to the garage... also stole my lawn mower and an empty keg of beer....
A look on the bright side is that at least all you have to do is replace a couple of windows.... it could have been much much worse.

Thanks, guys! The funny thing is here is quick short list of what WAS in my plow truck, that wasn't touched:
(2) different Carhartt jackets (7) CD's in console (2) DVD's $270 worth of 3/8" chain and 5 shackles (4) 4" wide x 30' long rachet straps
Suburban: Garmin GPS that was powered ON, and stuck to window! Bow case Bow tool box Sunglasses
That sucks and is the absolute worse feeling and you feel so voilated.

I know what you mean about feeling violated... I wonder why all the took was the change... Must have been kids and they did not want to have to explain where they got the other stuff from.

They hit 10 other cars that were unlocked in neighborhood took much more out of them! Like everything! They were driving Chevy Avalanche dark colored. They hit 2 other neighborhoods come to findo out....a buddy of mine on a car/auto forum forwarded me a post from a guy titled Fishers Theives. This guy and girlfriend were up at 3:30am last night and she just happend to look out of office window and saw a guy walking car to car with a hooded sweatshirt on. She opened front door and then heard a loud whistle and the guy took off running and then next court over a newer model Chevy Avalanche took off towards my neighborhood just around the corner like 5 min away. Same story here foot tracks in dusting off snow car to car, then into a vehicle the they'd get back out, and car to car. Mine had to have happened between 3:40am and 4:30am knowing when and how I was up and down with the weather and my guys that actually got to push snow, etc. Bottom line what a fing mess and I'd like to kill them, I have 2 things I don't like and don't like at all: liars and thieves!

Donnie that totally blows!!!!!! Sorry to hear that! I remember a rash of break-ins in Fishers last year similar to yours. Hopefully they catch the scum bags. Earlier in the week they caught some thieves in Hendricks County and a lot of items did manage to find their way back to the true owners. If YOU catch them, let me know and I'll come over and we'll dish out some REAL justice on their arses.

Sorry Donnie-went home and died last night. Sounds like they were just going for $$ and probably cigarettes. Fortunately what was probably more valuable to you wasn't worth them carrying around, which also tells me that it was just a couple of kids. Hope it all turns out without too much time out on your part. Wish you would have had our snow for all the equipment you had standing . Back in at work now and getting ready to head out.

Every so often something like this happens in Evansville. The last time, a bunch of kids were shooting out car windows, with BB guns, and slashing tires. SOCIETY IS FALLING APART!!!!!!!

Hope you get some peace pretty soon. We had a bit of stress this week too with busted water pipes in my bathroom and laundry room. Not the same as someone busting your window and taking some change but basically the same type of random twist in life we all deal with at some point. Good luck. I know I feel lucky that we only lost what we did. Some people have to deal with a lot worse.

Having your place lit-up is just making it easier for vandals to see what they are doing. Motion Detector lights are the best bet. Leaving lights burning all night, will only raise your electric bill.

I'm thinking of motion lights too.
