Good to hear you and your family are alright. I'm sure it will sting for awhile. Thieves are stupid by nature, no surprise they left some valuable stuff and just did damage. I've had the same thing happen to a car.

Well Donnie, just read this thread. First, sorry it happened. Second, don't feel like the lone ranger....my house was broken into last August, during the day when I was out making a living. They got 2 side by side shotguns, 3 rifles, 3 pistols (including an unfired Belgian 9mm kurz from the early 1900s and a Glock), my boyhood bb gun (THAT hurt) and to top it all off....a 13 point, ~160'" euro mount. So, I know it bites is all I'm saying. I also know how bad you want to know who it was and pound'em into the ground unmercilessly. Time will heal though! BTW, how much meth will ten bucks buy anyhow?!?! Durn COCKROACHES!!!!

Really? Thanks! I have a light that is always on including the other night, I now have the 2 lights on both sides of garage on. I'm thinking of motion lights too. I am certain you'll find the "motion lights " better suited to your needs. <GOOD LUCK> We had some gangster wanna-bes move in behind us, a week later they stole all my tools, 10 days after that they ripped the front end out of a toyta car we was saving for Chadds first car. They took the radiator, altanator and part of the exsaust plus tearin the hell out of everything doing it. So we got a cheap ($90.00) security system But the dvd will only record for 3 hours.. I'm thinkin a better system that turns on with motion detection would be the ticket! The cheap one is kinda fun to play with though, especially the infrared.

BTW, They also took a old washer out of the shared basement that was ours. I have a witness to it but the wife wants to just lay down and leave it alone. I'm just waitin for the right momment to put one of the punks away! ANY theft in Indiana is a felony, don't matter if it's a peice of 2 cent bubble gum!

Wife had someone get into her van awhile back, seems she forget to lock it [too hard to push the little button on the key], got about $25 in change. Went to Rural King, got one of those motion sensitive flood lights, now drive way is like the 4th of July if so much as a bird flies close to her van and my truck. Cost was 12 bucks + tax. Put it in myself. Told wife to call Sheriffs' department and file a report, got absolutely nowhere with the girl who answered, got ahold of a State Trooper, came to the house soon afterward [2200 hrs. when his shift started] and filled out the paper work. He agreed that our local Brown are not that professional. Buy one [or more] motion lights and put them in service

I just had someone get into both of our vehicles last night and all they took was a handful of change. I never lock my car doors where I live, but I guess that is going to have to change. I will be out buying some motion lights here real soon. I just hate the feeling of being violated like that.
