That's a very nice rifle.
Enjoy it.

It wouldn't be Indiana if the weather didn't suck...

You can buy thread protectors cheap on the internet. I know, but I'm just a bit surprised that Ruger didn't include one.

Louisville fans are getting restless as well. I don't think it will happen, but would not be shocked if both UL and IU have openings after this season. I guess contract buyouts will play somewhat of a factor. I have already read where UL will save a good amount if they keep Payne through the season. Woodson isn't halfway through with a 6 year/18 million dollar deal. I would imagine that even the boosters would have a hard time swallowing that. I wouldn't be surprised to see U of L cut Kenny Payne loose, if they can find someone to fund it. One big problem that Kenny Payne has is low attendance on top of the losses. Woodson, has the good fortune that IU fans are still putting their butts in the seats regardless of the losses.

We got our first one tonight....chambered in 204 Ruger. It is a LOT of improvement for less money than the previous Go Wild. Much better stock, fluted barrel, threaded and a brake, adjustable comb and LOP, bolt is smoother, trigger is better and at $579. As for the magazine, they had to address the feeding issues from the rotary mags in the first generation. Using AI mags that are proven and available everywhere at very good prices makes a ton of sense. Do the rifles come with a thread protector if a person wants to take the brake off of the rifle?

Ultimately, it's Woody's mess to fix. Can he do that?
I don't have a lot of hope that he can...

Yikes… We have 3" on the ground in the southern part of the state, and as of 11:00 am it's a balmy 8 degrees (which is 8 degrees warmer than it was when I woke up). I hate Winter...

Baldwin's a horse's a$$, but I've always read that it's the armorer's duty to make sure the firearms used in movies/tv are not loaded with live ammo and make sure there's no live ammo on the set...period.

Just another talking point for politicians to try and get votes, much like student loan forgiveness. I find that repugnant. You take out the loans, you should pay the loans back fully and on time. Period...

Tell me something I don't know. But, I'll still be pulling for them to beat Purdue tonight. And while it's unlikely that they will win, you just never know...

Anyone recognize this guy? Grumpy Cat's owner? That's the same face he made after IU finally canned him. Which really shouldn't have been that bad considering IU had to hand him a fat check...

Years ago I had a buddy who owned a few acres that backed up to a couple of hundred acres. The houses all sat on @ least 4-5 acres so the lots were decent size.
There was a neighbor who every time I would try to go in and bow hunt, they would come out in the yard, turn a leaf blower on (and not really blow leaves) or get a 4 wheeler out and drive up to the the property line behind their lot and drive up and down the line.
The last straw was when one of them slashed a tire on my vehicle.
I never went back.

I brought in my secondary firewood box and filled it up along with the primary firewood box. I put firewood in the fireplace too. Gas cans are all topped off as well. I hope all this prep has been for nothing. I hear you. I hate snow and cold.

I had not noticed that. I was asking about the weld on the frame. Is that an add on repair? Dealer says the frame has never been repaired and the frame is clean. I went to their site and the truck has 431,986 miles on it! 😳 No wonder it’s low priced. Hard pass. It's obviously been a good truck to have that many miles on it, but I think you're doing the smart thing by passing.
