The maximun fines aren`t nearly enough, but sad thing is, they won`t get nearly the maximum, IF they get anything.
THIS is an example of why we can`t allow the DNR to loosen things too much, because if guys will go to these lengths now, wait until we make it even easier for them

Remember that DNR only enforces the regs. When you go to court you are at the mercy of a local county judge. They NEVER pass a maximum sentence on fish & game violations.

P.S. Also note that the IA case is being pursued under federal violations. Same thing that had to be done in the Bellar case. Feds would love to try Fish & Game cases like this one.

I've seen a white plane flying low on opening weekend of gun season the past 2-3 years in northern Hamilton county near where I hunt... makes one wonder after reading this...
