I was just wondering of the people that have started exploratory committees to run for President, who seems to be the best candidate for the outdoorsman? I feel it doesn't hurt to start thinking about it now. I would like to hear any opinions on this and if anyone has background information on the people so far that would affect the sportsman's vote please share. Thanks.

I believe that you have to take a much broader position than simply “sportsmen”; I believe you have to ask-who should get the gun owners vote. If the Second Amendment is respected and protected, everything else will fall into place.
Ann Coulter has stated that she believes Mitt Romney is “the” candidate for the GOP-and although I haven’t researched his political stance-yet-if Ann says he`s far enough right for her-then he`s far enough right for me.
Bottom line though is this-anyone who supports and protects the Second Amendment is THE champion for all sports men-regardless of your pet agenda.

Too bad Rudy is pro- gun control. I think he'd make an excellent president, but his position on that issue will nix him getting my vote.
