The Brasseur Buck is in the north america WHITETAIL mag.Sept. Issue The Deer was shot in Martin county,INDIANA ...# 8 all time for the state.Story done by fellow Hoosier...very good story!!!!!

I may have to buy that issue to check it out. I let my subscription slip because the magazine has really went down hill lately.

yep i read it too. still gets me the buck came right back down the same trail after being shot at on it previously. if that was me i probably would have never seen that buck again

Yeah, NAW is all about showing big bucks, which is fine occassionally, but I prefer to read to learn. I like Deer & Deer Hunting the best. Very informative magazine.

Oops...the "JACK KEIHN BUCK"..was # 8 and THE BRASSEUR Buck is #9..The KEIHN Buck bumped the BRASSEUR BUCK back!!!!!

I just read the article this week. It's written by a guy from Evansville. His name is Phil Potter.
He has written a couple of articles about 2 hunts that I have been apart of. One was an Alaskan hunt and the other was a Caribou hunt in Quebec.
He has been known to "add" a few things to make the story a little more interesting. I know he did on my 2 hunts.
I'm not a big fan of his but what a great buck!
